He was never supposed to be a one-stop shop, you go to him to get started, get your first exotic, or get that one you've never had that he is by chance selling. End game is where you are truly meant to acquire gear, as it should be, the other way round would render this game pointless.

16 RepliesWhat exactly are you looking for him to sale? With TOC's - everyone should have had at least every Exotic once by now. I mean are you expecting him to sell some rare new Exotic we've never seen before? I don't get why people are disappointed with him, there is only so much he can sell.

1 ReplyWhat weapons or armor could he possibly sell that would make people happy? He sells engrams every week that give you a chance at any exotic of that type... The real problem is, we are playing the same content in Feb that we were playing in Sept, so most people already have everything.

What could he sell that wouldn't be boring? If you didn't start last week, you have all the exotics by now thanks to three of Coins. The exotics xur sells have always been for newer guardians trying to build there collections, vets that have everything will no longer have use for him beyond ammo. And by this point, the hard raid bosses or special events is the only way to get anything useful

Xur is really mostly for newer players. Sure occasionally he might sell something you don't have but it's only 280 light. He's best used for buying 3 of coins and year2 exotic engrams once you hit 300 so they can pop at 310. Duplicates can be used to boost your non raid legendaries.

If you're a year 1 player, Xur is not meant for you because most likely you've probably already acquired most of the exotics that are available to you. If you're new or a y2 player, Xur is most likely for you. Common sense bro!

15 RepliesDoes anyone use glass needles? I've always used them on my quick revive chests to add more sniper ammo, but you don't hear much about these. They are really useful in fine tuning your gear (much of which you don't see people do).

Eh I don't mind I usually spend my coins on heavy ammo for reps gains. Then I'll be a collector after I get them all to rank 3.
