  • The Iron Lords have gotten a hold of some of the enemies most powerful weapons and want to use them to prepare guardians for all out war. Each team has a weapon to defend. On earth a Fallen Walker. On Mars a Cabal Tank. On the moon an Ogre. Whoever destroys the enemies weapon first wins. Of course the weapons will also be shooting at you.

      • A rift like thing, but the spark is a tomb husk, confining you to nades and melee, no jump or super ect. One team will have a random member chosen for the carrier and the other team must protect the rift, only catch is, if you die you stay dead

        • No mayham or stuff like that. It would be unplayeble. But if they change the bounty's, i think Iron Banner Rumble could be fun.

        • 2v2v2, with one spark in the middle. (Would need to figure out a new map setting to get this to work with three teams) can dunk in either of the other two teams' rifts. Imagine this, +mayhem & inferno modifiers.

        • Any game mode but with different rules. A betting game mode. It work work as wagering "X amount" of experience. Top 3 of winning team earns 3X what was wagered and bottom 3 earn 2x. Losing team, top 3 break even and bottom 3 lose the experience wagered. Losing still earns you a medallion and Saladin can trade 2 coins for a chance to buy you back in. You won't go down in iron banner levels but you can be stuck at 0 exp until Saladin buys you back in. Medallions can be used for Saladin or when you win but it's optional. The amount of exp multipliers would increase gradually as the week progresses. This would mainly be to discourage quitting as you bet exp upon entering and will only lose exp if you quit. Naturally error codes will be a thing. And they'd have to tune the mercy rule to actually work more often.

          capture the flag was already a thing. it was the last iron banner, Rift. it was, at its core, CTF with one flag...

          Iron Banner- Fortification You have ONE zone, in the middle of the map. Holding this Zone will net you 5 points every 2-3 seconds. In order to win, you must be able to score 150 points, with a 10-15 minute timer, with the possibility of Over Time, being 1-2 minutes. This game mode shall have you spawn without Special Ammo, with only 3 Special Ammo spawn times, with the spawn time being 3-4 minutes. There will be 2 Heavy Spawn times, each 5-7 minutes between. There are also revives, so that team work is valued, but with a 5 second automatic respawn timer. Once revived, you get 5-10 seconds of increased agility. That's it. There could also be the kind of game mode, where it's still called Fortification, with all of the above, except the Fortification Zone moves around every 2-3 minutes, instead of everyone being in the same exact place. Or, there are 2 zones.

          • IB is Control. It was Control for the entire year one. Just leave IB alone. If Bungie really wants to increase content, have other "special" level enabled modes rotate around IB. Have a Clash event or a Rift event.... or have both. If we had other events it would certainly at least give PvP players more variety and more to do. Hell, for PvE just bring PoE up to Y2 and make a tournament around it.... with matchmaking of course.
