I guess it's a matter of taste, but..
..why does all the raid gear and weaponry look like some low functioning Neanderthals built them with the debris laying around in their cave?
I'd much prefer a more modern, sleek and refined assortment of armor and weapons. Gear that looks high-end, elegant, and sophisticated.
I love the gun, but everytime I use my Quillims Terminus I feel like I'm on an episode of the Fintstones

It's clear all of the creativity was spent on the year one rare weapons and armor. There was some really nice looking gear that you couldn't use anymore after 20 minutes of getting it. The leveling system in this game was a massive waste of an opportunity. Just for the sake of player originality they could have used the leveling system that would allow you to level any piece of gear you wanted. It would have made the grind at least semi rewarding. But, instead we pound or heads against the same wall for the same gear so that we all end up looking like different colored versions of each other. A legendary Khvostov, that would have been awesome.

Yeah I'm kinda over it too. I'm looking for good rolls of other gear to slowly get up to the same level as my raid gear.

This is why we need a Cabal Raid. I'd like some highly armor plated gear with the bulkiness of the armamentarium than more ahamkara bones.

1 ReplyMost of the blue shit looks better than legendary.....they just -blam!-ed up the whole armor upgrade system. Why someone couldn't upgrade their gear to lengedary status is beyond me. If someone likes a specific look, but has to look like everyone else,.... he has no options.

1 ReplyI was just talking about this the other day to an old playing parter, ironically enough it was when we were in the beta for The Division. Hated the way the Crota stuff looked, hate the Oryx stuff too, but I did like the sleek high tech look of the VoG armour. If I actually end up running the new raid any gear that I find is getting infused into either IB or FWC gear.

It's like they ran out of ideas after creating the Rare armor, and decided to just let their kids draw some designs for the rest. I mean, really, what Hunter is gonna like those pathetic looking scarves Cayde and Shaxx are selling? And the Warlock gear makes you look like you come from some tribe that worships some sort of bird god. Don't even get me started on the Titan armor.

1 ReplyKF gear has hands down my least favorite chest pieces, and boots, and helmets. The Warlock helm is mildly interesting, but the other two are awful. The KF gauntlets are respectable though. I really like the Hunter ones especially. Overall I'd agree that KF gear is less than desirable. The only reason I'm holding onto any of it is in case I ever start raiding again, and hope to get the shaders.
