Thorn user hate mail
I love getting hate for using Thorn. Today, one guy messaged me saying I was pathetic and desperate for using Thorn in clash, a game mode nobody cares about. He told me that he was mocking and making fun of me after I told him to enjoy the game he spent money on instead of getting all whiney to people in crucible for killing him with a gun that's already been nerfed more than once. I was laughing my ass off as he spitefully sat down next match (he got put onto my team) and intentionally let himself die. He sure acted like he cared.
I just don't understand why people whine about it. I'm here to enjoy playing this game with my boyfriend, using guns I like, such as Jade Rabbit and Thorn, doing bounties and raids. I don't care about winning. Must suck to be that into a game that you let some someone ruin your day because they're better than you at crucible, but who cares, right?

Tldr: got Thorn hate. He got spiteful. Didn't care.

I don't get why people hate year one weapons now. It doesn't matter to me, besides I tend to come out on top when I encounter a thorn user.

Please no more talk about Thorn, the gun is still good, but if we let the sweatys know it's still good we are finished, they will get it nerfed to nothing with their bitching

I don't understand why Khepri's Sting doesn't get as much hate. It does the same thing and it lasts longer.

6 RepliesIt doesn't ruin anyone's day, but it pisses everyone off. "So, it's what I like to use" that's all good and well, but at the end of the day, I'm sitting in a corner, bleeding out because of a weapon that has DoT. And that's not fun. Lemme ask you a question. How many times have you bled out, due to thorn? Probably not many. It's a horrible weapon to play against. No weapon should put you out of a fight for that long. Please op, give me knowledge as to why this is a fair gun to use. One more thought; using thorn is like pissing in someone's cereal; it may strangely be fun for you, but it is certainly not fun for the person with the cereal

Thorn is a pretty try hard weapon to use... lol especially when you just go for 3 body shots and let them burn...

It's just a cheap gun has been since it got buffed. The burn is just in a league of its own, especially on a gun that hits hard anyway. That being said people are free to use what they want, it's just damn annoying.

4 Repliesi got some thorn hate the other day he said i was a scrub and could only use y1 weapons i had 20 ish kills won the game i said he wouldn't want me to use yr2 weapons like a mida 1k build....he called me a fatty that plays all day......I'm 6'0 152lbs my body fat is around 12% (yeah i know I'm slacking it should be less) so enjoy that thorn hate I'll still use that fun its such a fun sound

It's just [b][i]so annoying [/i][/b] to play against. I don't use it anymore, but I use to be one of those people who could get the two-tap almost every time. I use The First Curse now and it's much more fun and challenging to use than something like Thorn or Mida.

When I first encountered people using thorn, I got pissed off. After seeing it a lot more, I just kill them and move on, not worth my time.

So what? You're not the only one in the world or in destiny. So why feel the need to point it out multiple times? It's like saying "IM A GIRL IN A GAME LOOK AT ME!!!" Being a girl doesn't make you bad at games it makes you no different than any male gamer. 5 RepliesThorn is a crutch which got buffed actually. Still 2 shots to the head and now because of stacking dot, 3 to the body... Requires no skill to use this weapon and that's why people get upset.

I use thorn and have for a long time. And now when people get butt hurt over it I break "Jazz Hands" every time I kill them lol.
