So after a couple of days I'm at the point where my combat rifle kill most things in one or two shots and deathclaws before they even get close. I usually play Bethesda games at normal then move up, so what should I play at?

If you make a good enough build, the world will crumble at your feet. In my survival playthrough, I can one shot a sentry not with a 10mm.

I play it on Normal. I don't play RPGs for their difficulty. That's what multiplayer games are for against human opponents
-
It honestly depends. If you play a stealth sniper build, the game becomes incredibly easy so you would need to bump it up. If you don't have much of a combat build then you might want to wait till your near level 20 to start raising the difficulty.

1 ReplyI play on very hard. Probably should move up to survival, but I'm not sure.

2 RepliesPlay normal till level 10>then hard to 15> then very hard till 20 then bump it up to survival for rest of the time. Beginning of the game will become frustrating when your trying to kill people and one target takes all your precious low level ammo

Isn't there very easy?! I played 3 and New Vegas on very easy cause I invest all my points on speech, medicine, science, repair, barter, etc... No firepower or strenght at all

Hard. While it isn't entirely easy, it imposes an enjoyable challenge where I could play casually but also encounter difficualt fights every now and then.

I suck at these games so I play on normal. But I'll change to survival a bit

I play on survival. Still too easy. Hopefully a hardcore mode update sometime
