Hammers don't track at all anymore and hitting someone isn't always a kill. Fix these major flaws that were created by your nerf.

I feel like the best way to bring back SB's is to bring them back to the way it used to be (cause lets be real, all of those nerfs besides armor were unnecessary). The only nerf really needed is to lower the armor to were GG, direct impact rockets, and a black spindle headshot 1 hit kill. Yes, i am saying 1000 yard shouldnt 1 hit headshot SB's, but thats to really show the tanky nature of both SB's and titans in general

I main hunter and I do agree. They over nerfed it a little. Tracking doesn't even track and it literally takes two hammers to kill someone if the blast radius doesn't get them you're going to have to throw another hammer. All we needed was an armor nerf, but the rest was uncalled for.

It's the only sunbreaker can do to defend his/her self and really supportive of a good player. They take far more hits and damage then anyone else and needs its way of recovery cause they're is no evasion option. If a player is getting shot by 2 guys they are going to need to recover cause even after killing one there is a good amount of time before they can attack again, all the while getting shot back to near death.

25 RepliesI have to disagree with you here buddy. I main a hunter but lately I've been on my Titan more. Whenever I play regular crucible I can throw a hammer into or close to someone and that person dies with one blow. The issue you're having is related to one or more of the following problems: 1. Lag. Either you or your target is lagging like crazy. Most common issue right now 'cause bungie is afraid of hurting people's feelings by implementing a real fix. "Connection issue? Fix it or don't play pvp. Sorry dude" that type of thing but going off topic right now. 2. You can't aim for squat and maybe throwing like a 2 year old. I dunno something like that. 3. Your playing IB or trials and the level difference between you and your target is too great. If I were 170 and you are 310 my potential rockets will feel like a pinprick to you. So to speak. The hammers were nerfed properly and so was the health.

They seem fine now, though I agree the hammer should take down most guardians on a hit (Exception: Radiant Skin+Flame Shield type supers). I've certainly never survived a hammer hit

6 RepliesI don't use a titan much but do some of you titans find the blast radius of the hammer to be an issue? From my view it seems like that's the main thing. Armour wise, they shouldn't increase it.

I feel like the armor needs to be increased a little bit. Titans are too easy to kill now.

I agree with OP.. Hammers don't track any more, several hammers landed inches away from people and barely did any damage (they explode, they should kill you if they land close) and cauterize is completely broken. I used to rarely get killed during a super unless I was hit by heavy or an opposing super. Now I'm getting killed just as if I hadn't activated it. Blade Dancers, Gun Slingers, Night Stalkers, Void Walkers and Storm Callers are much more difficult to kill while supers are active. Destiny took the one super with range for a Titan and completely destroyed it thanks to all the b!tching from Warlocks and Hunter who could hang back and use their supers that have range before Sun Breaker came out. Weak move. Before all you try hards out there call me crybaby, I'm not saying the super wasn't over powered. I think a four hammer limit is fair, six or whatever it was, was too many. However, some of the other sub classes for hunters and warlocks have a health re-gen perk, so I have to say that cauterize should be brought back up to match them. Tracking or splash damage needs to be increased as well because I shouldn't be getting killed by an auto rifle after I've tossed a hammer with in feet of that guardian. If you take from tracking you should add to splash damage and vice-versa.

Splash damage no longer exists. If my hammer lands next to them it should nearly kill you.
