Is the SRL Record Book worth it?
Before I even think of dropping $10 bucks in Silver on that thing, I want to know exactly what I'll get for it. I've seen the exclusive Sparrow, Shader, and Emblem, but I'm wondering; is there anything else? I could get two new Legendary Sparrows for what that book costs me.

Nope. I got it and don't really find the stuff from it to be useful. The gear also doesn't seem to pay attention to what shader you're using.

Probably not. The reward drops give you gear with the same perks and you can win any new legendary except the red and blue one when completing Amanda's Quest.

I don't get why anyone would buy the book. You get exclusive armor and sparrows yeah... Which are only really useful in srl. Which will be gone in 3 weeks

I like the shader you get. If you have the spare cash, sure, but I wouldn't break my bank for it.

For 10$..... No lol you get a few cosmetic stuff but nothing amazing..... Plus this may not be a event that comes back to destiny so...

In my mind, SRL is truly in a beta testing stage. I don't intentionally pay to play beta (I realize the irony of this statement). Thus, it won't be worth it until they add a more complete version with more bells and whistles. Until then, I feel like I've already paid for everything they've released.

3 RepliesWell it's not 'worth it' if you mean loot drops. I ended up being a sucker and bought it. I've enjoyed racing and wanted to support it. Also hoping it'll stick around and be of some use down the line but probably not since its labeled with a volume number. If they are decent they will let those of us who bought one pay less for future volumes! But we know they aren't really that decent :) So if you are looking to buy good rewards look elsewhere. But if you are having fun racing and like collecting the stuff and got money to spare I say go ahead. It's only the price of lunch :)

2 RepliesHers what you'll get. A shader a sparrow and a set of armor only good for racing. They have made no guarantee of future racing so in 3 weeks the armor set will be completely useless. And you can get better looking shades and sparrow for free doing the bounties and s class lisence. You tell me if it's worth it.

Nope. Instead of fixing the glitch the way they did, they should have just given all the people who had it in their inventory their silver back. Keep them on that microtransactions hook and line.

If anything, it should have been $5. Only invest your money into it if you're a collector. If not, then it absolutely isn't worth it at all.

For recording stuff yes but the rewards no so it's a cool thing to have to show you did this stuff and it sets your goals to keep playing
