You have to remember barely half the ppl that own the game even know about lfg so if there's 1,000 players you convince half the rest buy it at (idk the price so let's say $5) that's still $2500 in bungies pocket. Now do that on a way lager scale they've probably already made close to $1 million what they choose to do is exactly that. There's people everywhere that say don't smoke don't buy tobacco but they still do. It's kind of the same concept you know that buying this will only promote other events like this but people still have free will mate it's human nature.

They ask the price of half an "expansion" for that book,now I dont care about dances,emotes or cosmetics and that book does not do anything gamebreaking,but shouldn't they focus on new actual content. Sparrow racing is nice and all,but where are the new missions,strikes,raids? This time last year TDB was released,this year they have not even anounced anything that resembles a proper continuation of the game and story,must we play the same content with only very small new additions,while they keep raking in the dough with their microtransactions without giving a lot back in return? Sparrow racing should be an extra in a contentpatch with other new content,its now just too little and too late.

You are doing what Activision, Bungie and Luke want. He was right that you would all just "throw money at the screen". You guys acted so butt hurt about those comments but look at you...he was absolutely right. Anyway, have fun supporting a terrible business practice for a shitty racing booklet that will lead to some lame gear that will be obsolete in a few weeks. buying the book seems a bit pointless to me, paying 1000 silver to get a new variant of droppable armour and a slightly altered sparrow... no thanks. but this even is an effective legendary marks farm (providing you get drops) so this "2 hours of content" is alright to get the marks to wall-buy the new-old exotics ;)

Emote packages got me heaps of cool emotes, probably say i got what i paid for. I'm confident they will stop with the microtransactions as soon as ppl stop buying them. But atm, if it looks good and i have the money to part with, i'll probably buy it.

I prever live events above DLCs. Their more frequent. And so what if they cost more id rather pay 10 dollars every live event (and work towards something cause time is limited) than to buy a DLC where you run a raid multiple times to run a raid multiple times.

I don't understand why we cant have both micro transaction events AND full content DLC releases. I would spend money on both and know many who would too. The 3000 hrs I've played this game is well worth the $180-$200 I've spent so far. And i will spend more for more DLC and full expansions, even micro transactions depending on the content for sale. I don't know what I would do without a new raid, new gear, and new missions/locations for a whole year until Destiny 2 in September.
