difference between touch of malice and gjally is if you are going into the hard raid, I assume you've beat the normal one and from there out, getting ToM isn't RNG like gjally was it is actually something you can sit down and just do.

I think it isn't unreasonable to ask for ToM. It's easy to get, and its a sure sign that the person has beat the normal raid and knows what they are doing.

If you're dropping into Lfg finding someone else's group you don't have room to bitch about their requirements. Make your own group to do the raid with non ToM requirements if you want. ToM makes raid easier in last 2 sections. Fact. People want it to be easier, especially if they're asking for randoms. So get over it.

1 ReplySometimes it's not even using the weapon. To me certain things show how well u pay attention to what's going on in the game. Tom is op in the raid, anyone who wants to do the raid would have interest in that. If you don't have it then you either can't get it or are too lazy to get it. It is easy to get and helps alot. It doesn't have to be that weapon either. Things like grimoire let me know what type of player I'm playing with. You can be a great player and have low grimoire. Not having it tells me you are not a compltionist, I like playing with like minded individuals.ill play with anyone, but I like playing g with those who think like I do, therefore I like playing with people who are great at this game.

1 ReplyThey require it so that they can get the raid done faster and easier. The touch of malice is definitely the weapon of choice for the daughters and oryx. You probably don't have one or else you would know. It makes a difference for sure and is the preferred choice among experienced players.

Its actually 280 for warpriest Then 290 for the rest Im a elitest because u can take the time to carry noobs, most people who are under 300 now are noobs and prob have only just managed to do the raid once For hard im only gonna take 305+ With touch and black spindle And a very good idea of what to do

I used to do the entire raid with my 1000 yard stare... But honestly the touch of malice definitely puts out a lot more damage, oryx gets stunned in about 1 second, maybe less actually. While it is not required, it was literally designed for the raid that's why it's op and won't be nerfed and people are asking for it.

7 RepliesYou shouldn't be doing hard mode if you don't have ToM already. For you to get ToM, one of the requirements is completing the normal raid in the first place. And if you don't have the patience to find 45 fragments, you don't have the patience to complete the hard mode raid in the first place.

Well, I have ran it both ways, with everyone having black spindles, and with 4 using ToM. The sister and Oryx fight are easier with ToM. But agreed not needed. However for Hard mode....yeah I will be using ToM.

Running the raid with ToM is quicker than without. It's not necessary but it's preferable. If you have completed the raid you have no excuse not to have it. If you haven't completed the raid my sympathy it must be hard getting a group.

Lol, we don't even know the mechanics of the hard mode raid yet. For all we know, there is no invincibility shield which is the only reason ToM is any good. Either way, week 1 of hard mode you should be doing the raid with a group of guys you are already used to playing with.

Yeah but ToM is nothing like gally because you earn it so it won't be nerfed because everyone can earn it... Not hard to get at all. No RNG needed
