I don't know. Bungie are very inconsistent about these types of weapons. Vex Mythoclast matches it's weapon slot, but every other weapon like this (No Land Beyond, Universal Remote and Sleeper Simulant) match their weapon type.

All the off category weapons, no land beyond and universal remote, are stored in their original category. The only exception is Vex.
