It does a very good job of the nailing the Star Wars movie feel but once that wears off its just a pretty meh shooter dressed in a Star Wars skin. People will play it for a few weeks then move on because the game is shallow and meant to seek as many copies as it can to casual gamers. It also has the worst spawn system I have ever -blam!-ing seen. I've been playing shooters for 15 years now and dealt with some shit spawn systems but holy shit, does this one take the cake.

Star Wars Battlefront is a beautifully rendered, painfully average fps/3rd person shooter with a Star Wars skin.

Honestly, its fun, but its much more lame than I thought it would be. It just has a clunky feel. Kinda like hardline.

9 RepliesDid we play the same beta? I think people are letting the hype of this being named Battlefront seem better than it is. It is Battlefield 4 in a Star Wars shell. I like the game but to say the beta might be better than Destiny is fanboying. Hard

8 RepliesNope, the game isn't anywhere near perfect. Visually it's awesome, audio craps out during sessions. Controls are bit off, not as finely tuned. The terrain collision is god awful in some locations, you get stuck on a small clump of snow. Vehicles... Someone else can bitch about that. The card and field power-up system is uninspiring but that's due to personal preference. There is no weapon modification system, despite that being a heavy part of the lore and there are only 4 weapons. The previous SW:BF games had classes, which has been replaced by a loadout system. Now, while I've got a lot of problems with the game and it makes me a bit angry, I am still buying it and playing it. Because it's freaking SW and will patch out into something better. But that shit isn't killing this shit. They're the same shit, just different piles.
