What's the best way to use 3 of coins?
I've been running a lot of heroic strikes lately but it hasn't been very rewarding. Not to mention those strikes take way too long!
Edit: Forgot to put the regular vanguard playlist. Also using a 3oc for the patrol areas seem like a good idea.

Use one before every strike works for me i have all rng exotic drops and 20 exotic engrams in the vault

Eye of the gate lord on venus, Run through everything until the boss (where u stand on the platform to summon him) defeat the boss and leave before the timer starts to end the mission n just restart it and it will keep u at that checkpoint, sometime it will glitch and restart and ways. ive done this for an hour straight and got 8 exotic engrams sure beat doin the heroic strike over n over...

Your best bet is to record the time it takes you to complete each mission, strike, whatever, and use the one that takes you just over the cool down time to complete.

The new Vanguard playlist (level 36 or whatever) offers the same amount of rewards and the same chance at getting an exotic from three of coins. An ultra is an ultra regardless of the level of the playlist. And the exotic engram that has a chance to drop from them is no different. You're just putting yourself through more of a hassle by playing the heroics that offer the same rewards of the normal vanguard.

Activate one. After every boss you kill, check if the "exotic particles" buff is still active, if its not- Activate another one. Repeat.

4 RepliesHere try this, go to the scourge of winter mission easy or hard works. When you get to draksis, use a heavy ammo synthesis and the 3 of coins and get him down to low health. Kidd both of you at the same time over and over again and you should have a lot of engrams

I've had decent success using them during the fallen events in patrol. I've seen a couple people getting 2 exotics from 1 boss doing this.

7 RepliesI got a question. I know about the timer that exist when you use a coin before you pop another but when do you exactly use the next coin ? Do you instantly pop it and wait 5 mins or wait first and then pop it ?

10 RepliesI use 2 at a time and out of 45 three of coins I've gotten 8 exotic engrams. 1 primary, 2 secondary, 1 helmet, 2 gauntlet, and 2 chest pieces.

Use it before killing an ultra. There are fast ways and slow ways your drop rate will remain the same. I use them on strikes because I farm legendary anyway.
