King's Fall already ruined
Raid has been live for less than a week and people posting on LFGs are already setting qualifiers.
Ex: "295 light, must be experienced"
Really people!?
Some of us have yet to run KF, who are we supposed to run with? Not all of us have whole days to pump into this game.

4 RepliesNot all of us want to RUIN the experience either by watching vids of the raid, I mean that does kind of go against the whole principal of doing new things for the FUN of it. Demanding "experienced" players is just stupid. I'll just not play the raid and avoid the aggravation.

I don't generally post unreal expectations. I just don't want clueless people wasting my time. It only took me about an hour and fifteen minutes to get through it with experienced people. It took me 6 Hours helping a clueless group of friends to get to Daughters. Sometimes, I just want to get it done quickly

Why don't you find a group who hasn't ran it before just like you and you all can figure it out together? I'm always seeing groups posting for people who haven't ran it. Most of us who ask for specific qualifications have ran the raid multiple times and know how much of a pain in the ass it can be. We all had to find our first group at one point. It's a lot more fun experiencing with others who haven't ran it so you all can get excited about your drops and learn the raid instead having it told to you.

you can run it with the people that say they are looking for a fresh raid. Im sorry but when you do the raid each week, it starts to get annoying when you have to explain each part of it. It also takes longer. I dont even care if you have completed the raid, i just dont want to explain each part of the raid. Go watch a youtube video first. Do you realize that it took me 11 hours to complete the raid when it first came out? I did with people who had no idea what they were doing and it was one of the funnest things i have done on destiny in a while, but i dont want to spend anywhere near that time doing it again. You shouldnt want to do it with people that are experienced in the first place because it is the most fun figuring out each section.

Exactly... I created an open lobby the weekend and only had 2 guys that ran it before. The glyphs took a few try's then we killed war priest on 3rd go and Golgoroth on FIRST run. We enevhad1 guy and 285 light and only 1 over 300 light. With good instruction and comms it's a piece of cake.

3 RepliesMe and my crew, we run with scrubs sometimes and teach them the raid. Only downside is when you're teaching new guys it takes almost 3x as long.

I usually only take one new player. Rest must be 295+ and raid experience. I've played thru the raid 12+ times, I'm not going to take inexperienced people in. I want to finish the raid in less than 2 hours and not explain everything a million times. New players don't seem to watch videos and have no idea what the hell to do. Lazy -blam!-s

Before oryx, the only thing I request is experience. At oryx it's just 295 and exp because recompense light for oryx is 300 sooo

1 ReplyI posted today 40 minutes before reset after failing multiple times with my regular group, could barely get one round of bombs done. I requested 300+ with experience as I had already wasted enough time and had to get it done promptly. I feel under those circumstances it's ok. But some people also done have the mental capacity to teach mechanics.

7 RepliesI finished KF from start to finish on my Titan at 282 light If you set standards you're obviously not good enough to do the raid or are asking to be carried. It took us 2 hours (we lost 1 guy at golgoroth and had to 5 man the rest)

Because my time is precious. Hope you'll understand that not all of us have 6 hours for each raid to end. :/

Usually someone who is posting they have open slots means they don't have someone to run regularly with...I.e. - they aren't really worth it. Someone who is interested in taking people through doesn't care about experience. I would get your own team. Trust me...people that advertise with qualifiers are those wannabe alphas in a raid that make it a chore to deal with. My friends and I run it and have more fun because we don't have some self-proclaimed expert throwing his or her raid cred around. Good luck and have fun!

295 is more than a fair light level to get to, sure you gotta grind for it, but that is more than fair "With experience" usually means know wht to do, in this case it can be done via youtube, twitch, etc. saying you don't know what to do during a raid is really no excuse, there are waaay too many resources out there with walkthroughs
