Nightstalker complaints.
I see a lot of Hunters complaining about "how weak" Shadowshot is.
As someone who's first character was a Hunter, I'd like to say that this class is not at all "weak" or "underpowered". It simply takes patience to use the super effectively.
And I see a lot of Titans saying that us Hunters were very unfortunate due to our new subclass. I'd also disagree with that. Our new subclass has perks where tethered enemies explode, dealing extra damage to all. As well as another perk that gives us 3 bow shots rather than one. Our melee blinds and if you equip "envenomed" it gives them extra damage.
There's a perk that counts all tethered kills as super kills rather than regular kills.
Also, when tethered, I can have someone in my fireteam use their super on you while you are suppressed. So no, we are not unfortunate. No, bungie did not screw Hunters over. No, Nightstalker does not need a buff (looking at all you sad crying hunters right now).
ALL of the Supers are so great. I'm really proud of every single new subclass we got.
Btw: I don't even need to hit you with my bow for it to do anything. I can shoot it at the ground near you and it would tether everyone nearby.

Nightstalker is an amazing sub class and as a main Warlock, I think they are great. With the right perks, they become the ultimate PvE class.

I love the class. Generates a bunch of orbs and it's great to tether enemies and get the critical damage hits on them

2 RepliesI was born to be a nightstalker blood bound for pve and quiver for pvp. I was using graviton forfeit for the free shadestep until i got the sealed ahamkara grasps. 2 smoke bombs or 3 throwing when im in gunslinger. I haven't touched my titan yet or my worlock because my hunter completes me.lol

In pve I'm in love with the perk where damage is shared across all enemies and they explode. I don't even have nigh stalker maxed and I think it's great. Not op and not underpowered. Well, if you use it right the taken might complain it's op

I do not think shadows hot is underpowered at all, especially if you use teamwork. If you have super and a titan sunbreaker has super, or even a titan smash will work really well. Shadowshot the enemies with perks to make effects last longer and tether mores enemies, use the perk that makes all enemies take the same damage when tethered and explode when killed, if a sunbreaker kills tethered enemies, he makes orbs for his kills, and you can make orbs for tethered enemies being killed. There is a perk that tethered enemies create more orbs, too. A nightstalker and sunbreaker are like Thor and Hawkeye wrecking the opposition. When you do it right and coordinate.

Us Hunters finally got a utility class and I love it. Anyone that think its weak doesn't play with other people.

I think they should adjust the crosshairs for the bow. Sometimes it can be hard to notice

The hunters that complain about nightstalker are the ones that sucks at been a hunter xD I love the subclass, my main is a Warlock but because of how awesome the nightstalker is, I haven't use him or my titan at all.

I agree. Just because it isn't an insta kill every time doesent mean it sucks.

3 RepliesPeople hate on Nightstalker for the same reasons they hated on Defender yet once people learned how to use them people were BEGGING for skilled defenders and the same will happen with Nightstalke.

Edited by IncubusBen: 9/20/2015 4:44:20 PMI was playing control and myself (a titan) and a hunter charged B to defend it as it was being capped by the other team. Hunter used her super and the entire enemy team was effected. She took out three with her shotgun and I hate plenty of time to take the other three with my fusion rifle as they were all slowed down etc. I think that if it is used right it can be amazing. The problem is that hunters now have a super which requires a bit of premeditation and a bit of luck (like FoH) which gg and bd are not (maybe bd a little, but not to the same extent) so it just takes a little getting used to. In a week or two when people have had a bit more practice I'm confident this super will start kicking ass in pve and PvP :)

There is one thing that I have to inform you about and that is the "Lock down" perk, it is completely useless. I tested multiple time and both times I had the same recorded time of between 6-7 seconds with and without "Lockdown" equipped, a huge dissapointment.

Shadow shot gives a higher benefit than weapons of light.

For one I think the blood bound perk is insane. Invis grenade is nice and if you use blood bound with a sun hammer Titan you can wreck anything

I like the bow and the tether. But I miss the throwing knives to much to play as anything other than a gunslinger
