I'm curious cause I see a lot of people use a nova bomb or FoH just to get one kill and I always question this. I feel it's better to use it when 2 or more are in the line of sight. I never use my super 90% of the time anyways.
Edit: holy moly I didn't expect 300 replies XD

4 RepliesFor me, a super is not entirely about eliminating as many people as possible. It can be a very effective tool to carry out revenge. Let me tell you a story of someone we will call Billy. Billy was playing Iron Banner, and was using a blink shotgun and thorn. He was all over the place for the most part, however, come the heavy ammo drop, Billy would disappear. The kill feed would show him getting kills from time to time, but for the most part he was off the radar. Then an epiphany occurred, Billy was going for the Iron Wrath bounty. He was nearly there, he had to be. Then, outta nowhere (WATCH OUT WATCH OUT WATCH OUT), incomes a Titan Fist of Havoc. Billy falls. Billy is mad. Is was evident that this was no accident, the Titan targeted him. The Titan was getting his revenge for his previous death dealt by thorn. It was unnecessary, yet satisfying.

As a yes/no answer, I'd have to say yes. Very situational.
-
Only when the situation calls for it. Otherwise I look for at least a double.

Edited by Pyrowo1f: 9/10/2015 2:56:39 PMIf I think I might die, yes. Punishing a shotgun or other super is half of the fun. Edit: also used it last night to stop a guy who was literally at our rift. He didn't score.
-
Only if there is a arc blade or golden gun to get
-
Sometimes yeah!!!
-
ill usually save it, unless a bladedancer is coming at me, either then its a nova bomb or fist of havoc and a large haha! afterwards
-
To kill a blade dancer or gunslinger that's about to wreck my team, yes.
-
No, use twenty.
-
It's better to use super on one person and let your teammates use the orb to charge their supers so they can drop more orbs for you, than to hold your super the whole match waiting for a situation where multiple enemies are stacked.
-
I use self res and use it to kill one if it's to save a control point or heavy spawn etc
-
I use mine tactically. If I just got done with a firefight, earned or had my super, and am caught in a decision of try to reload or bomb them with a super, I will use the super on one person. Otherwise I try to wait for more than one to be in range to get the max effect.

2 RepliesAll most every Titan and every warlock use supper on just me like 3 times a match kind of dumb if u ask me and no I didn't have a supper for 2
-
I do when I think there's more than one person camping the spark but there's just the one
-
No I use my super when I see a group of enemies in just one spot
-
What's even worse is when you're out gunning them and then they panic super you
-
Only to cancel a super or against a T Bagger
-
Only if it's rumble and I'm against my friend
-
I use it on the objective in control or when a super is used such as arc blade or bubble
-
Only if it provides a strategic advantage or they were on an objective
-
When I'm low on health and if I don't use it I'll die
-
Had a Warlock Nova Bomb me the other day while my back was turned and he had a shotgun out... Just me... I mean, whatever really, if you want to waste your super, go ahead.

1 ReplyEdited by Silverfish: 9/9/2015 9:56:31 PMIf there is a sniper ADS (especially if he has sniped me) , I'll flank him, then shoot off a Nova Bomb to make a big explosion/point. Other than that, no.

They don't have mobile hunter supers, -blam!- you if they want to use something the game gives them to kill you, and they chose to use it. Yeah. I expect every player I go against to try their very hardest every time, the ones who don't are a sigh of relief.
-
Yes. Let the hate flow
-
For me it depends on the game mode for smaller ones like skirmish then yes not really on clash or control
