The Save Year One Campaign
Let's show Bungie that we WANT to have our year one weapons.
Edit: Our Gally taken away. Our Hopscotch taken away. Now, I know why it's called The Taken King.

Edit 4: People should play how they want to play and define fun for themselves. We are NOT against new weapons. We just want a choice and have our hard work respected.
Edit 5: It's always interesting to see what people who are against choice have to say. It's like they sit in a room and plot how they will try to kill this movement.
Edit 6: The censoring of us by "Mentors" and Xur news for tomorrow. I see them!
Edit 7: Cozmo has said he talked to the devs about it. I can't find his post, but know that he's the Community Manager we need. We must keep the pressure going!

They take a total of 1200 marks across 3 characters and reduce it to 200, plus they start you off at zero dumping all of your saved marks. Then everything you can buy with that small amount all costs the same amount as when you could same the 1200 marks.(edit, thanks for pointing out the mistake) #saveyear1gear

2 RepliesI'd rather have a choice rather than get year shat weapons forced down upon my guardians hands. Our weapons attack level in ttk is going to get reduced to nothing and why hasn't anyone caught on? All of our weapons are going to be reduced from 365 attk and our defense reduced from 1700+. If we push for this I'm sure year 1 weapons and armor have the best in perks and feel. It's our hard work grinding this gear to take on all these bullet sponges and broken a.i.

They are forcing people to buy the DLC. Many of you will and sink more hours. They win.

14 RepliesChange is good. Destiny needed it bad! Game was a 3-5 weapon rule all. Every piece of armor was the same just a slightly different look and rolls. I'm glad year one stuff is being left behind

13 RepliesI find it pretty frustrating that trash threads like this get THOUSANDS of views/comments while there are plenty of productive posts with actual ideas to improve the game out there that get ignored. Get over yourselves. Learn to adapt. The rest of us don't want to use the same gear for the next 10 years. Stop complaining for the sake of complaining.

2 RepliesAccording to the planet destiny Twitter, there is a confirmed source from Bungie that all year one exotics will eventually be moved into year 2. I'm not sure why they're staggering them out, but we will be getting them in time. Go check out the post

Everytime thing's have been added to this game, other things have been sacrificed. It's total bull. I can see years down line there still being this small world game that could have been so much.

So for them to say you can't bring your gear with you in The Taken King is BS. First off that essentially makes The Taken King "Destiny 2". Now if they had just said 6 months ago Destiny 2 is coming out and you won't be able to use you current gear in new missions. No one would have had a fit over that. But Bungie knows this isn't a whole game and really wants to get rid of the "34 max Gally only" LFG guys. So instead of putting matchmaking options based on hours playing raids Bungie decides it's easier to get rid of people than fix their game. You see LFG guys that say "gallys only" hurt business for Bungie because in all probability you weren't gonna get a Gally. So you don't buy the game or don't talk others into buying the game. It's all a marketing trick to keep you playing. Hell this place right here "The Community" is the biggest social media marketing trick in history. If Bungie puts matchmaking in Destiny this place goes away. It's all a scam like a supermarket to make you feel like your at home and never want to leave. No doors or windows (don't play other games, you only have time for Bungie). Everything is on sale (you have a time period to content and missions). Soft music you don't really know is there all the time. It's sickening once you realize it. This company created Cortana and John for god sake and now they serve us this ready to eat slop.

Bump, I want my timurs lash, voc, fatebringer, ect. This doesn't mean I won't use newer weapons too. Should be up to me what I use on Destiny.

1 ReplyTaking away our ability to choose to play all three characters on all weekly/daily strikes and missions is horrible unfair! It's been a year so many of us have all three and you decide that we should concentrate on one! So you dismiss the effort we put in and keep demanding to play your way.... Frankly it's childish,"it's my game and my rules so if you don't like it go away".....Really!!!
