4 Primary Type of Gjallarhorn Owners in Destiny
1. Mr./Ms. Lucky: Basically RNG just gave them the Gjallarhorn after a couple of weeks of Nightfalls and a couple raid completions.
2. Workaholic: [b]Three[/b] Gorgon chests, Atheon's, Deathsingers, Crota's, and Nightfalls [b]Every Week[/b] for several months. If post HoW, same as before with the addition of [b]Three[/b] Queens bounties for treasure keys, PoE's, and Lighthouse runs. Again only to be rewarded with the Gjallarhorn after several months.
3. Mr./Ms. Unlucky: they played the endgame content like the workaholics but ultimately only saved from their cursed luck by Xur.
4. Lazy guardian(busy with real life)/Noob(just started): Lazy's spend more than 25% of their time playing patrol, have done a few raids, PoE's, Nightfalls, and weekly strikes none with any consistency. Just purchased Gjallarhorn from Xur.
Edit: 5. Early conquer with superb foresight: purchased Gjallarhorn week 2.
What type are you?
Did you work your tail off week after week watching your fireteam get their third or fourth? Are you just a lucky two shoes? Are you a mix lucky and new?
Are you as stoked for everyone to get their hands on the Gjallarhorn as I am? No matter where they fall?

I must be doing something wrong. I played the game and had gally drop during crota but I never knew anyone actually "worked" while playing a video game. What exactly did this "work" consist of? I must be a filthy casual, I sat on my couch with refreshments and never broke a sweat.

Wait, how is someone running around on patrol classed as lazy? Patrolling is fun, lots of shit to shoot, objectives, just overall, lots of options. I don't see how that's lazy.

I'm a #2. But don't get me wrong. I didn't farm raids just for gally. At that time I wanted other weapons too like Suros (when it was hella popular in pvp), Red Death, Vex, Thorn, Icebreaker. Never was I ever centered around ghorn and when I got it outta the gorgon chest, I wasn't even all that excited.

7 Replies4. Without a doubt. I'm a married man, father of two children, both 1 and 3 years old. I work full time and also go to school full time. I'm a homeowner, and have house projects. I haven't had a full nights sleep in 3 years since the kids were born. Yet I'm still killing it as an above average player baby. Thank you Xur. Thank you. Thank you for adding to my slow burn of an exotic collection and making my minimal play time go by that much quicker.

1 ReplyI just got on my girls lvl 28 account and looked to see if she had enough coins and she didn't. I ran a weekly solo and got 6 coins then I was missing one! Did a couple of strikes and managed to get the Ghorn for her all in a matter of 3 hours =D she earned her gally
