It's supposed to be an upgraded version of the Rifle right? What about those who have deleted it? What will happen?

The New Exotic "No Time To Explain" is An Upgraded Stranger's Rifle. For those of you who say this is just strangers Rifle, take a look at the reticle on the weapon. Completely different from Strangers Rifle. Hope this Clears Up Some Confusion
-
I don't think it's needed for the exotic.
-
2 RepliesNow we need an exotic helmet call "I could tell you" that looks like the speakers mask.
-
2 RepliesWell I know bungie will give a boon to all players that will get a character to lvl 20 on the day ttk comes out u could use that to your advantage
-
16 RepliesYou merely have to run The Black Garden again and stay through the cutscene.
-
When ttk hits and you can go to the kiosk to get shaders and emblems it would be cool if they had it to where you could pull out every gun you ever acquired an use it reguardless if deleted it ....that my man would be pimp
-
I kept it because I always had a feeling it would be needed at some point. Lol
-
They said it doesnt require the rifle. Because you cant get the gun by re-running the Black Garden.
-
1 ReplyIt's a different weapon altogether. You won't need to level up your existing strangers rifle
-
I have 2, it didn't give it to me when I passed it with my Titan
-
2 Repliesi kept it cuz the stranger is my gf <3
-
I'm lucky my titan is at lvl 12
-
Level a new character.
-
3 RepliesThe special orders lady (ATM) will probably have it to re-buy or something like that. If indeed it is an upgrade, maybe the Stranger turns up and gives you the new one at some point.
-
I'm out of the loop on this one. What? So this will be a thing in TTK?
-
Start a new character
-
I deleted my warlock and made a new one to get it again just in case we have to upgrade it into the no time to explain.
-
My 3rd character hasn't beaten the story, so I'd check your other characters too
-
2 RepliesI have no time to explain
-
You'd think that bungie would have made the strangers rifle a legendary or something because in the cut up piece of shit that is called destiny's story, receiving the rifle marks a significant event. I have one and still have to finish the black garden mission on my secondary and I will if doing so will lead to a new exotic but not getting my hopes up lol.

5 RepliesTheory: back when destiny was a much bigger game before anything was removed, the story was much, much longer. The "no time to explain" was probably going to be the first exotic everyone got instead of the strangers rifle. Then head writer guy left so bungie had to cut game into dlcs. Then they realized: "we can't give an exotic for 20 missions of story. That's too easy. Let's cut it down to a beefed up rare. Then the strangers rifle was born
-
Replay last mission
-
You can go back and get another one can't you?
-
You'll be able to buy 1 for $20 when the dlc drops.
-
There is not currently any information about the requirements to obtain the "No Time To Explain". All we know for certain is that: 1) There is an Arc Pulse Rifle called "No Time to Explain" 2) There is a gun that looks like the "Stranger's Rifle" with different sights. This weapon has a Pulse Rifle HUD icon. That they are the same weapon is pure speculation and has never been confirmed, even if it does seem pretty likely.

3 RepliesI did not finish the campaign with my second and third characters - I can't see why anyone did when the Stranger's Rifle was the only reward.
