"I’m sorry. But $40 for 8 story missions, 3 strikes (for XB, I’m excluding PS exclusives), and 1 raid?!?!?!? A $15 arcade game has more content than this. WTF."
• 8 missions,..2 or 3 more than with how. Expect rehashed areas, AS USUAL per Bungie's game design dilemma
• A whopping ONE new area, with infinite re playability (jokes)
• five strikes is going to be completed in ONE day.
And for the love of god, NOW WE HAVE TO LEVEL THE GUN SHOP OWNER. That is not gameplay., that is supreme BS. Well he didnt do squat past lv 10 anyways)
a few weeks from launch, and everyone still has questions.
Im sorry, but the bun-gee team are arguably the biggest a-holes on the planet. they\ are making a mockery of gamers.

8 RepliesIt took me 2 hours working at my job today to earn $40. Those two hours of real world work will give me the means to enjoy HUNDREDS of hours of playing Destiny. Explain to me again how I am getting ripped off?
-
2 RepliesThen don't buy it and change games.
-
And that is your Opinion. Bye
-
6 RepliesEdited by Elysiae: 8/31/2015 7:36:37 PMThere are so many quests,i doubt it's 10 missions only.
-
6 RepliesThink about it like this. Destiny originally cost 60$. The two DLC cost 20$ and then you get TTK ... All that for 80$ and you are complaining?
-
1 ReplyMost likely activision, so don't buy it. Problem solved.
-
2 RepliesYou could always lvl up the gun guy it just now has a purpose. So many whiny bitches, was about to buy it but this community is -blam!-ing annoying little kids
-
Well if people can play the same content over and over again it can't be said we have A.D.D.
-
2 RepliesDon't forget they've delayed the Raid with no info on what that actually means
-
7 RepliesEdited by Unforgiven: 8/31/2015 9:46:43 PMYou forgot 8 new multiplayer maps and two new crucible modes. The raid and patrol bosses. New weapons armor exotics. New leveling system. Im not going to lie - ttk looks appealing. They are also doubling the vault and adding quests. Even crucible will have a quest system.

Bumping

14 RepliesWait till reviews to come out for TTK. Do not pre-order it (:
-
Everything's you said is the truth but they know we are Destiny addicts and we will all buy it
-
1 ReplyYou don't have t buy it right away. If you feel it's not worth 40 dollars, then wait for it to come down to a price you feel is appropriate. For me, I love the mechanics but I'm not a social person . So I'll wait for the price to come down that represents the content available to me thru matchmaking and solo play. Probably 10 bucks or a bundle deal like the new players are getting, depends how long I wait. Set the market yourself.
-
2 RepliesFor me it's not about the price. I pay $40 bucks to go golfing for a day. It's about the fact that there are games with a real story and loads of content with great graphics that are available for $60. Destiny game play is awesome. There just isn't an actual game. Each new release has felt like a demo more than a game. Replaying the same crap over and over for weapons we thought were somehow worth it. And now we don't even get to keep them lol! Destiny dumped a bucket of ice water on our heads with the 2.0 update. We are all now wide awake and with each new update we are realizing just how much bullshit we've been accepting. Destiny has tons of potential but nothing worth spending money or time on right now.

2 RepliesEdited by Mr Ilax: 8/31/2015 6:41:43 PMIt's 10 missions. 7 general 3 subclass. So 8 on any given character. You're also missing 3 new subclasses and a new patrol area. The court of Oryx end game content as well.
-
2 RepliesI agree that their question answering sucks. But I think that we are getting plenty of content for 40 dollars. You forgot the three new PvP modes and new PvP maps, and The Taken War content and new subclasses.
-
4 RepliesDon't forget, if you put in an additional $40 (for a total of $80) in the U.S., you get to have a few dance moves and a cloak/Mark/bond. What a steal!!! You get to re-grind everything you already own and play an hour or two's worth of new content. I didn't pre-order for a reason. I dropped my $40 on Gears of War Ultimate. Much better use of the money.
-
2 RepliesThat and abuse of the EULA has gone rampant. Look at their history over the last year.
-
Sorry, no raid comes with this DLC on launch :D
-
15 RepliesThey are pretty much changing the whole game. Plus adding all that shit. Plus getting PS exclusives for xbox. I'll spend 40 on that.
-
19 RepliesGo spend $40 at the movies for two hours with popcorn and soda.
-
6 RepliesSure, go ahead. Don't buy it. You'll regret it once all the reviews are out.
-
3 RepliesIt's about $90 in australia
-
5 RepliesHahaha people complaining about it being 40$ get the 80$ collectors edition and get more shit you dumbasses
-
3 RepliesOne- This is an MMO so if you were looking for a deep well told story your in the wrong place. Two- This has the same, if not more, content then the previous two expansions. It has double the amount of strikes, the same number of story missions, a brand new area we get to explore, and over 40 new exotics with new ways to obtain them rather then RNG. All the reasons you hate on the DLC are the reasons why this is the one that is actually worth our money. Three- Halo's DLC Didn't add brand new story, weapons and such. Neither did Call of Duty. Or Titanfall. Or Evolve. All these games came out with maybe a new armour and a couple of new maps in their DLC while Bungie is trying hard to continue to expand the Destiny world and trying to continue to immerse us, which is a lot more then other companies have done for their community.
