"Immune" in Crucible
This has happened twice to me before. It wasnt the same guy, and it was only once per game that it happened, so I don't believe it was cheating. (This was Clash, not ToO). I shotgunned him and it came up Immune. Rest of these games, albeit some lag, I saw no evidence of cheating. Can someone explain this please?

Edit 2: Thanks for the replies, I think I was out of distance with my shotty. As for people who have experienced this with a sniper or super or heavy, I have no clue. As for people bashing me for using a shotty, chill. I'm actually learning to snipe recently

Edited by GHOST 9o5: 8/3/2015 7:57:17 PMIf you fire your shotgun from an unreasonable range, then it will appear as immune. Or on a Juggernaut Titan. Maybe don't try and snipe with whatever high range you got.

This happens frequently. I used to think it was because of the damage falloff at long range. However, when a fusion rifle or shotgun burst only a meter away registers immune that's an issue for me. I've seen this occur even with a tracking rocket launcher and Nova bomb that clearly hits a guardian spot on. Afterwards, I see them run away with no damage done to their shield or health. The only registered results are immune. That's why I don't like or play crucible anymore. The random glitches sometimes are unbearable. Best of luck dealing with these minor anomalies.

It happens with me from time to time. It's usually at the tip of the range, I will get some 1,s and 2,s plus a few immunes.

I've had it with a sniper body shot at the start of a match. I had it months ago where I threw a scatter grenade and all these purple immune's came out Not entirely sure what causes it

1 ReplyIt's because you shot him from too far away with your shotgun. Damage will show up as 1s or immune.

I've had this happen to shotgun pops up as the pellets counting as 1 or immune if you're way out of rang, now if you're point blank something fishy is going on but it happens to me out of shotgun range so no worries

Happens rarely, but yes it did happen to me twice on two different matches and occasions. Nothing to do with cheating or something, I guess its a normal glitch (Which i think should not happen).

Happened to me today but with a rocket and I hit three different people with it and the all were immune
