Yes. It's cultural, not racial. My girlfriend taught in china and the kids put way more hours into school, the people work longer hours and hard work is culturally ingrained. Colour and ethnicity has nothing to do with it. We North Americans don't work as hard. It's not always a bad thing. They aren't as happy as we are so there you go.
