Were you expecting skilled play this IB
Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha yeah right. The IB just like the last few is currently over run with the top 3 crutch handcannons in the game. You were expecting guardians to be skilled? Please. Anything that requires even the most miniscule amount of skill in IB will never be seen. You don't even have to check anyone's loadout cause it's either:
Primary
Thorn/Hawkmoon/TLW
Secondary
Party Crasher+1/Matador 64/Felwinter's Sniper
Heavy
Does this really -blam!-ing matter?
You know when that "Rebalancing" comes around I can't wait to see how well that handcannon and shotgun pairing work for you. Then again, we'll probably see teams of Thorns now thanks to bungie. (You idiotic -blam!-s)

To be totally honest, I walked into this IB starting with running NLB exclusively. I'm pretty terrible with it, but wanted practice. I kept getting frustrated at dieing from the usual crap loadouts. So I put VoC and Queenbreakers as my next try. Better results but in CQC I got mauled. .......I've had enough. I set up Thorn, Light of the Abyss, and an unrolled Dead Orbit rocket launcher and started going between 1.0-2.3 KD a match with some .5-.8 here and there. I won't use a shotty, not necessary. [spoiler]I REFUSE to let the DOT kill. I will shoot until you're dead, if it's any consolation. If it does kill you, then I was likely double teamed so you deserve it. Lmao![/spoiler]

3 RepliesThere is a little more variety with primaries. Seeing a lot of pulse rifles. A few autos and ran into a few NLB users. But definitely shotguns are the go to. Oh well. Actually having fun so far with it and I don't play a whole lot of PvP

23 RepliesLots of people saying 'I use thorn because I can't counter it with anything else'. That's a cop out. You are essentially saying you suck with any other gun. I use The Messenger and counter thornies just fine. Use your grenade as an extension of everything. Close quarters and out of ammo? Nade, melee. U might die but u got him. Medium range....WATCH THE RADAR. Just expect the thorn and you will know how to get around it.

Ok, so why am I using a hand cannon instead of a gun that takes skill? Because the last word is high damage and takes skill. What will I use when the nerf comes? The necrochasm. Because it's my favorite weapon for normal crucible and trials. Is this enough for you?

20 RepliesOnly reason I use Thorn is because there isn't a way to counter it. You can't beat Thorn unless you have a Thorn too. As far as Secondaries go, not everyone uses those weapons.

3 RepliesYou know I feel sentiment of it being annoying with everyone using the same weapons but the truth is...why wouldn't you use the best guns? I mean you want to win right? If you're not a majorly skilled player then why wouldn't you use something that gives you an advantage. You can't really fault the players because Bungie can't seem to understand the term balance. Before you trash talk no my stats aren't great because idgaf. I'm pretty good in pvp when it counts. I do use some of the more powerful weapons but I also tend to use a variety of other weapons just to mix it up.

Played 2 clash matches yesterday. Besides me, using a pulse rifle, i shit you not every single person in my lobby had a thorn and last word. Its painfully obvious they fcked up..
