Were you expecting skilled play this IB
Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha yeah right. The IB just like the last few is currently over run with the top 3 crutch handcannons in the game. You were expecting guardians to be skilled? Please. Anything that requires even the most miniscule amount of skill in IB will never be seen. You don't even have to check anyone's loadout cause it's either:
Primary
Thorn/Hawkmoon/TLW
Secondary
Party Crasher+1/Matador 64/Felwinter's Sniper
Heavy
Does this really -blam!-ing matter?
You know when that "Rebalancing" comes around I can't wait to see how well that handcannon and shotgun pairing work for you. Then again, we'll probably see teams of Thorns now thanks to bungie. (You idiotic -blam!-s)
Edit: Getting a lot of reasonable and sensible guardians commenting, that's good. But then you have your asshat crutch bitchbois saying muted and cry baby. Hahahahahaha get good you clowns and use something that takes skill.

This is how I feel if I actually pull off a win

I went into one match, one was enough. I was using hard light, since I noticed it still does a good job. However, at level 34 with a fully upgraded hard light, I was no "match" for a 32 with a Hawkmoon. I didn't quit, kept going; then killed that same person with my AR. A few moments later, that same player proceeded to t-bag me with his ram equipped warlock. After he shot me with his Matador from a mile away of course. After the match ended, I went back to normal control. Some of the matches you enter you actually find people using the guns they like. Not the ones they feel obligated to use to win.

I tried out my newly acquired Hawkmoon and feel the last word is a better gun bullet for bullet. Next I will try red death and preadyth's revenge

2 RepliesI only use thorn on asylum and cauldron. I use full auto/third eye scouts everywhere else. Except I use VOC and Scholar. I main ghelions, VOC, nl shadow 701x(one of the best scouts imo). I hate thorn, but for trials it is a must. Secondary I run benevolence with surplus/party crasher(one of/if not the best shotguns currently) heavy I run tomorrow's answer/galley.

8 RepliesGot on .... used jewel of osiris ... realized everyone was using thorn or TLW .. grabbed my thorn from vault -blam!- them with their own crutch weapon got off.. I'll be back when the rebalancing comes. Don't want to have to deal with these -blam!-ers that can only do good with using the best gun in the game. Soo sad ...

I went went on a 18 kill streak with messenger and Her Benevolence yesterday.I haven't used a single shotgun or thorn all banner.I consider you the worst of the worst if you are using thorn or a shotgun.Heck you're even worse than the Suros users who didn't get the note about the nerf.

I hate seeing a freaking 34 running around w ONLY shotgun! I mean, changing the amount of special ammo you get per pick up was dumb, it was clearly the shotgun that was the problem... I mean there ARE snipers in this game, what are we supposed to do with like 3 or 4 rounds when we pick up special ammo. And don't even get me started with shot package, it has made this Iron Banner unbearable for me at least. But seriously, can't wait to see those noobs suffer when their shotguns and thorn go bye bye!

Hawkmoon isn't OP. It's just a really solid gun that doesn't rely on fancy perks to out perform other guns. Besides it doesn't help that most of the people aren't even level 34. I was using a 331 55a-allFATE and still knocking fools out left and right.

You know there will always be a meta, right? After the update shotguns will be weaker, but still probably be on top. As for primaries, mostly likely pulse rifles and certain autos. There's the blink nerf, but it'll only be a nerf. Who knows, maybe if they did the job really well then it won't be as bad as it is now, but this thing you're complaining about is going to stay the same while wearing a different mask.

In all honesty I just don't understand why people put Hawkmoon in the same class as Thorn and TLW. In no way is Hawkmoon OP. If he 3 LITC perks ever stack all at once? Maybe. I think I have only ever seen one person get a one shot kill with it on an uninjured player. You have to have good aim with it as it has a very low aim assist compared to most other Handcannons. The LitC is watered down because of the large magazine. Hawkmoon is not OP.

I've actually seen quite a bit of diversity this time around when I inspect pre-match. Scouts, auto rifles, fusions, etc.

2 RepliesNot as many thorns as the last Ib. I use Hawkmoon or Word of Crota mostly on primary. I've actually seen messengers, atheon's, and hard light quite a bit this time. Lag isn't as bad so far either.
