Fix the MFin MTU Cheat! Also if you want to know how to do the cheat its been posted here on this topic.Keep bumping this topic!

The MTU cheat is ruining Destiny PvPer. You can easily tell people are using this cheat. They remain on green bar but are damn neat invincible.

    Deej just sent me a pm saying he has a fix for it and it was " just buy an xbox" and he also said that they cant fix it because its a sony exclusive and sony have paid for it. [b] EDIT: Butt hurt PS users are funny.. majority of you understand this is a joke, hopefully i gave you a bit of a laugh.[/b]

              • Its hard to believe that the lag every single game in crucible since day 1 is from cheaters. The servers need fixed. Every single game, I can't think of 1 game where there wasn't some form of lag. Whether it was my team or the enemy team. It always lags. If there has been a huge influx of cheaters that has caused it then of course ban them. It's just hard to believe that's the main reason it lags, every. single. game.

                      I'd read this before deciding to "Fight fire with Fire" https://support.us.playstation.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1260/~/information-on-banned-accounts-and-consoles It clearly says that your account can be banned for doing something that gives you an unfair advantage under normal circumstances. Just playing devils advocate... I'd be pissed off I it turned it on because everyone else did and I get banned. Stay safe guardians. EDIT 1: Here is the exact line if you don't want to go external: Cheating Doing or utilizing anything that gives the player a greater advantage than is intended for normal game play.

                          • Here you go for people that want a read on MTU ---->maximum transmission unit (MTU) of a communications protocol of a layer is the size (in bytes or octets) of the largest protocol data unit that the layer can pass onwards. MTU parameters usually appear in association with a communications interface (NIC,serial port, etc.). Standards (Ethernet, for example) can fix the size of an MTU; or systems (such as point-to-point serial links) may decide MTU at connect time. A larger MTU brings greater efficiency because each network packet carries more user data while protocol overheads, such as headers or underlying per-packet delays, remain fixed; the resulting higher efficiency means an improvement in bulk protocol throughput. A larger MTU also means processing of fewer packets for the same amount of data. In some systems, per-packet-processing can be a critical performance limitation. However, this gain is not without a downside. Large packets occupy a slow link for more time than a smaller packet, causing greater delays to subsequent packets, and increasing lag and minimum latency. For example, a 1500-byte packet, the largest allowed by Ethernet at the network layer (and hence over most of the Internet), ties up a 14.4k modem for about one second. Large packets are also problematic in the presence of communications errors. Corruption of a single bit in a packet requires that the entire packet be retransmitted. At a given bit error rate, larger packets are more likely to be corrupt. Their greater payload makes retransmissions of larger packets take longer. Despite the negative effects on retransmission duration, large packets can still have a net positive effect on end-to-end TCP performance.[1]
