Taken King: Separate game or original disk?
Can someone please confirm that The Taken King can be played on the original disk? Or is it a completely separate game? I dont want to purchase a "digital game" over having a physical disk, but if its an expansion/add-on I will pre-order. I already have the original disk and the two expansions w/ season pass for Xbox One. Thanks for the help

Hello, Bungie has not stated on whether it will be Digital or on Disc

It's an expansion like in WoW as far as I can tell

if you have the game already on a disk, you can either get the digital edition which is just the taken King expansion or you can get the digital collectors edition which includes the dark below, the house of wolves, the taken King and other special things like exotic class items. otherwise you can either get the legendary edition which comes with a physical copy of destiny, the dark below, the house of wolves and the taken King or you can get the collectors edition which comes with all the stuff from the legendary edition plus some trinkets and a book of lore.

You don't need to buy a separate disc to play TTK.
