My solution to blink in pvp only.

Basically once blink is used, special weapons won't ready for 1 second. Let's be honest here, it's too good defensively and even better offensively when used with a shotgun.

  • My solution to blink in pvp. If you see it coming either blink or step back a few. Also running forward also works as well as punch(sunsingers) or retaliate with a shotgun of your own. If the enemy is at too far of a distance and has a shotgun anticipate the blink and you'll have the edge.

  • People whine so much about blink when in reality it's not hard to counter. It's seriously not hard to shotgun a blinker back before they get you. The problem with most people not you specifically OP is people exaggerate things and whine about everything they don't like where one day PvP will be turned into a tickle fight

  • Why are they nerfing a jump really blink + shotgun is fun and so you can get away from nova bombs and fist of panics faster

          • I'm confused. How can there be a solution when there is no problem to be solved? Yes the agility of blink is annoying to play against, so is the height of the Titan's lift or duration of Warlock's glide (ever rushed round a corner at someone to find they've been chilling in the air for a half hour and they drop down on your head? Yeah..) Hell even double jump has caught me off guard sometimes when I've been firing rockets at them mid-air. Stop crying nerf at every single thing that was involved in making you have a +1 on your death counter. Adapt and learn.

            • This is the best blink nerf idea I have seen, I started using blink again to avoid blink shot gunners and supers a lot easier cause with double jump they still get me quick

              • I like this idea. But I like having one blink more and lengthening the cool down. That way, you have to be more precise about blinking and think about every engagement you use it.

              • Since a lot of people are gonna call you a noob ima help you out When they blink just run towards them Don't jump but run and slide Trust me I get away from blade dancers like this most of the time Heck sometimes I'll just jump around in circles

                Only change to blink should be a better visual indication of where they are headed and that's all. At most if your gun is already auto aiming on an opponent and they blink it should move in the direction they are moving to assist in keeping track of enemies. I may also be able to deal with being unable to ADS from the time I use blink until the time I hit the ground. Assuming current shoguns it would turn blink shogun into blink shotgun melee in more scenarios, allowing for more counter opportunities. Those are the only other changes I could see working without wrecking the ability. I want to see how the shotgun nerf affects the blink shogun combo before we go overboard here. My bet is we'll see a resurgence of sliding.

              • Have you ever used blink? People who argue blink are retarded. It's the most skilled jump to use. You have a massive cool down after 2 jumps leaving you very vulnerable. If you cant counter blink then you are just sad
