So I do understand why Thorn and the Last Word needed an nerf due to their reputation in the crucible. To bad about the Hawkmoon since that weapon was perfectly fine and required more skill to use.
Its also good that auto rifles are getting an buff as well...But Black Hammer, Ice Breaker, and the Gjallarhorn getting an nerf? Seriously where did that all come from?? Not cool bungie...not cool }:[

Just making shit harder for us...

2 RepliesThey're tired of us making a mockery of boss fights by melting bosses with the aforementioned weapons. This has nothing to do with elitism.
-
I think that some of the more maturely grounded bloggers and such are correct in that some of the changes look to be just for the sake of changing things...and increasing grind time.
-
Elitism and the fact that bosses are a joke when using those weapons. My clan and I whole heartily agree with these changes. I'll miss black hammer and GHORN, but I admit their OP as all hell.
-
If this were league it would be hell of nerfs

4 RepliesI've never seen this many incorrect uses of an before in my life.

2 RepliesThe over used weapons get nerfed and the under used weapons get buffed but I agree with there outlook on all this one weapon shouldn't be needed to join a team and do raids/Poe (kinda needed with new raid coming in September) Just looks like people who use the thorn will have to get up close and personal for it to be as good now Just happy I might be able to use the necro and get my dusty suros out the hard light can stay where it is

6 RepliesIt came from fireteams showing up to boss fights wtih 3-6 Gjallarhorns...and making a mockery of the fights. It came from people sitting up on top fo the Templar's Well and using mulitple Ice Breakers as a means of beating the fight whille avoiding most of the fight mechanics. it came form Bungie being put int he postiion of trying to make the boss fights hard enough to withsand the massive outpouring of damage these weapons were capable of......or keeping they fights playable bythose who didn't have them.

4 RepliesEdited by Pixel Crisis: 7/17/2015 4:01:42 PMIt's called weapon and game balancing ... stop crying about stuff that hasn't even been implemented yet. No one knows how this will effect the game play in PVE and PVP ... why doesn't everyone just calm their tits and try out the balancing in the game, in the various modes, before getting all up in arms about it.
-
4 RepliesThey were crutches I can admit it. I got worse from relying on them why can't you?
-
3 RepliesIs this really a hold up? You're a terrible criminal.

I dont think Hawkmoons nerf is that bad, I mean it sucked when I got one-shotted by it.
-
2 RepliesThey made black hammer useless. Great you dont need to reload. Cuz that 2 second reload time was so hectic. Black hammer was only good because of that perk now its justan ordinary sniper. I guess since one gunneed to be nerfed they decided everything else needs to suffer now. Good stuff bungie right on -_-
-
4 RepliesThey are making all the good weapons suck to try to force people to use the shitty new weapons. All because they cant come up with any good ideas for new GOOD weapons. They always take the cheap easy way out, doesnt matter how big of a slap in the face it is to the players.
-
They don't want us to be able to kill bosses, they want us to spend an hour to do it which will lower the number of completions of just about every activity
-
4 RepliesYeah no none of it was wanted but i guess bungie wanted to kill 80% of their fan base? I know i and a bunch of others will be quitting once ttk drops
