Should all PS4 exclusive content be for Xbox One?
Okay, I am an xbox user, but I am putting my differences aside, and making a non biased opinion. I am not favouring playstation or xbox at this time.
Many xbox and bungie fans who play destiny are upset about playstation exclusive content not being on xbox. Now with Destiny: TTK giving the old content to xbox users, playstation now gets even more exclusive content.

And I'm guessing that the new ps4 content will end up being exclusive for a year like the last lot. So we will get it (if you're playing in a years time). I'm thinking of jumping ship to The Division in the new year.

The point of exclusivity is that it's [i]exclusive[/i] to a specific console. The whole point of the deal between Sony and Activision is to entice players to buy a specific console in order to get exclusive content. Xbox users will still get this content, but only at a later date.

Platform exclusive anything is horribly unconsumer friendly so I am by default against it. That said, being on xbox and whining about it is silly since it was well known prerelease that the Sony version would be the superior one.

I have no issue with exclusives, when it is full games. Xbox had halo. PlayStation had the uncharted series. Exclusive content is just bullshit and totally unnecessary. We both pay the same amount, we should get the same amount of content. Before you go lighting the torch I know Xbox has had the deal with call of duty before and it's just stupid. Now that deal was only a month but still not fair. There is no point to timed exclusive content. Making half of your player base wait for content that they already purchased does nothing but split your community into people who are salty about not getting content, and those you have it and like to rub salt in the wound.

None of us can literally do anything about it. There's this little thing called A CONTRACT I'm an xbox user as well and I will admit that a year timed exclusives is a little extreme but we have to deal with it. More xbox users play destiny anyway so it's only a matter of time till Bungie comes around again.

Just found out on Amazon that PS4 Fallout 4 is 4 cents cheaper than XB1..... WTF! Haha I'm serious about the price but not the comment lol

They got Bloodborne. I was super close to getting a PS4 but PS premium would've been a must. Im cool with waiting for the exclusive weps though.

A year is an abomination though. I had to start my senior year of high school, finish it, and then start my freshman year of college before I have access to Hawkmoon. That's the dumbest thing about this stupid deal. I hope the 40% who said no are joking, because if they aren't then we really know why this community is so hostile to one another...

All these people saying Microsoft had the timed exclusives, though true, they were only for a month.... I am mostly talking about the cod dlc's which nobody cares for regardless....these exclusives are for a year, drastically longer than a month people...

19 RepliesPersonally I believe exclusive deals poison the game industry. (Looking at you Bloodborne.) But seriously, games and DLC should just be universal. PS4 and X1 are practically the same so I don't see why we can't just share games. (Companies would make much more money that way than through deals.) Example: Playstation could get screwed when Fallout 4 comes out and Xbox gets special treatment from Bethesda like we always do and then it'll just be a bad time over petty deals. Consoles wars are stupid, and exclusive deals need to stop. (Esecially stuff like Destiny's whole year of exclusives, could you imagine if Fallout 4 game Xbox DLC for a whole year before Sony? Lame sauce.)
