Christianity is NOT a religion of peace
I lol every time someone tries to tell me that. The link above shows just a few of the many horrible acts committed in the name of Christianity, including:
- The Crusades
- The Witch hunts
- Slavery
- The KKK
- The torture of non-believers
If you want to be a christian, that's fine, but don't pretend that your religion is all "peace and love".

3 RepliesI like your feeble attempt to make a religion look bad. I have studied many religions, and yes, all of them including Christianity have done bad things. But most of your points are false. The KKK, Westbro Baptist, Crusades, and all those are basically the ISIS of the Christian world. Most Muslims condemn ISIS actions as wrong at think it makes Islam look bad. All the organizations you mentioned are widely hated in the Christian world. Why? Because those organizations practice Christianity to an Extremist level (like ISIS) or are in a cult that stems off Christianity but is wrong in the bible. Seriously Op, if you're going to bash a religion, try not to make yourself look like an ass in the process.

I know it sounds ridiculous, but, on the same basis - will it be ok to forgive what Hitler did in a couple of hundred years? No. Will it be ok to forgive terrorists in a couple of hundred years? Every example you have listed is either not Christian related, or is exercised by people who simply claim they are Christian but aren't actually Christian, or think they are Christian but are massively confused about Jesus's teachings. I assure you Jesus does not advocate for anything listed above, and these are the actions of a true Christian.

Just because one group of people did stuff that was bad and said that it was in the name of their religion doesn't mean that the whole religion just goes around torturing and killing everyone that isn't part of that religion.
