For me it's my teammates... Several times I've been kicked from parties because I wasn't 34. Last night we were right about to beat him and the host traded me out at the last second.
Naturally, I was infuriated.
The entire time he was complaining about my level, about how I take more damage and deal even less, and he died TWICE as many times as I did most of the time, I saved his dumb ass from a wipe fighting Pilot Servitor TWICE. And we get all the way up to Skolas, and he's like "Oh I knew you were gonna die there," or "I'm only going to attempt this with you 5 times and after that I'm done with you."
So essentially I wasted 3 hours of my time dealing with his bullsh!t and saving the entire fireteam without any gratitude for nothing.
So what's stopping you from beating Skolas?
Edit 1: Jeez, over 300 replies in less than 12 hours... That's insane.
Edit 2: Wow! 500 replies in an entire day! You guys are awesome.

Skolas, -blam!- him

12 RepliesIf you're not a 34 you're just slowing your team down and being carried

Not being accepted because I'm not 34 and I can't get a team for 34 PoE
-
Have been kicked more than 5 times. Usually they aren't very skilled and I am not the very best but I consider myself decently good. So most of the time it's like I'm being used to get to the boss and then kicked. I have now learned to not accept invites and to only be the host.

Haahaahaa sory for u bud. Thats y I decided never to join anyone on 35. I will play 35 only when I m hosting.

9 RepliesNothing, Skolas is a joke, honestly the pilot servitor the round before is a longer and more difficult fight...lol.
-
Nothing, I already beat him. And if you need help you can hook me up (PS4).

I wouldn't being a 33 to Skolas. I'm not an elitist, just logical. 3 34's with gally beat him in 30 seconds, it's easy enough to find that group. That being said, if the fireteam leader was going to boot you for being 33, he should never have let you run in the first place. Go hit 34 then do it, you'll save yourself and your teammates a lot of time. Yes it can be done as a 33, but this isn't like Crota, where lower levels didn't really affect the time needed to kill. Level 34 is so easy to get, they've flooded the market with etheric light. Just hit 34.

Nothing it's easy

Since returning to the game from a small hiatus I have found it hard to get into groups for most of PoE. I have yet to finish Skolas and last night was the first time I have tried it. I am on PS4. I would still like to run 32 or 34 for my other characters at some time.

PVp :) also when I did try it if it wasn't done first time one guy left hell first try we got him to 50% all using patience and times yet when we failed the next bit he left .... Like wtf come on lol
-
Yeah, he was a dick. TBH you probably wouldn't have beaten him without the right weapons. You wasted your own time...get to lvl 34 then try again.
-
Have no care to fight him
-
Elder cipher glitch -_- it's not worth beating him again if I can't complete my first cipher.
