Why You Should Calm Down About Gjallarhorn
I'm not gonna tell you it's bad or anything stupid like that. Factually speaking, it's the most powerful weapon in the game. HOWEVER it's not that practical. It's amazing for taking bosses down quick, but for everything else, you're wasting your exotic slot. In most situations, an exotic secondary or primary would be better. Or if you have Truth, that would also work better. It's a great gun, but you all really need to stop begging and pleading for it. I'd say all things considered that it's about as good as any other exotic just because of how often I find myself switching my heavy to use a different exotic. It's definitely not one to dismantle though...

It's the best weapon for a lot of endgame material. That's why it's so sought after. I don't use it as much as my ice breaker but when I pull out my gally it's for the right situation and it's a game changer!

The Gally is crippled by grenades and horseshoes Your rocket has never hit your target, only blown up once in proximity.

2 RepliesOnly difference with the Gally is that it has wolf pack, I'd use my hunger over it every time because it's a waste of an exotic slot only useful in raids and nightfall

17 RepliesYou're drunk. It took me a while to get my gjally. It is a must have if you're a raider. The hunger of crota is a sack with only one nut, the gjally brings the whole package to sally.

I find it is only fun to run around with if you have friends to spam gjallys with myself and Crota but even then I can't help but switch to my tracking one way ticket 000 when no one is looking... Hehe

You are very right my icebreaker can do the same work without wasting amo it may be a "pussyfoot" way to do it but it still gets the job done.

Like many things the gun is overhyped. Its a great weapon in certain situations but half the time its stupid to run around with it when most other exotics are better on different occasions. Most people wont understand until they use it. Its just an extremely hyped weapon
