Didn't bungie claim that Crota End's raid drops would be an improvement over vog drops?
They did and no one can deny it,i feel like it was bullshit since I can't get a black hammer even though I've been trying since it was released, and i know there are plenty of people that are also in my place, atleast half of the people in every normal raid team i get into is missing a black hammer or any other raid weapon and its honestly really disheartening.Don't get me wrong, im not saying you should get every raid weapon in the first week but dont make it ridiculously elusive, what do you guys think? And are you guys missing an raid weapons?

Edit 2: i realize i mispoke when i said that ce raid drops are only a small improvement over the vog drops, its definitely better but it has its own flaws

I have all of the crota Wepeons (Including Crux if that counts) Swordbreaker it won't drop for me Also First Time I did CE I got Black Hammer

4 RepliesI have had numerous weapon drops on normal CE including about 6 Swordbreakers but only ever 1 Song and 1 light. I tried so many times to get BH and everyone in my raid team seemed to have one. The last 2 of us who didn't got ours this week in separate matches on the same day. Keep the faith :)

1 ReplyI have definitely had better weapon drops in CE than in the VOG. Still no Black Hammer though. Not really worried as I have other sniper rifles, one of which can be bought from the robot guy in the hangar. The flip side is I have enough gally's, not that I use them every 5 minutes, but I have them. Will start doing more VOG raids to get a VOC and maybe a Foil for each character. These are worthwhile seeing as you can upgrade their DP when HOW comes out

I just finished all my CE drops this week, and getting there on VoG, just missing foil and CM, if anything I'd say they improved the drops over the past couple of weeks, but in no way was it done in the last couple of months.

Personally I found it pretty good. I've got everything you can get from CE on all 3 different characters and all weapons. But on the other hand I still don't have a Gjallahorn. Swings and roundabouts.

Edited by schoat333: 5/7/2015 11:40:15 AMThe armor drops have definitely improved. Weapons seem to still be hit or miss. I have a full set of raid armor for both of my characters. Can't seem to get the sword breaker, but the black hammer has dropper for me 5 times now.

1 ReplyThe ce raid throws weapons and gear at you in a manner that Vog never did. It took me about 10 completions to get black hammer, the game thinks I wanted nothing but swordbreakers

1 ReplyI think what they may have meant was you wouldn't be getting multiple of the same items for one set of loot. IE, 2 helms for killing atheon.

8 RepliesIt's based on a loot table if you already have the wepon you are less likely to get it. But the guy you are using has to have the wepons in his inventory and they can't be in the vault or on other characters

1 ReplyIt's still rng but it also tracks what rewards you have and haven't gotten. It took me 9 raids to get the black hammer. I still haven't gotten the gauntlets in VoG.

I got it week one and haven't seen it drop since. I did stop doing easy for a long time though and just did hard to get all the primaries.

1 ReplyI feel you man. I've been doing normal crota runs 3x a week since launch. That's 66 total attempts for the black hammer. And I still don't have one either. It's drives me insane!! Good luck getting yours!

The problem with Crotas end is, the loot isn't distributed anywhere near as evenly as VoG. In VoG you have 4 points on any difficulty for weapons and armor to drop. Crotas end you have 2 for just armor( and a weapon on hard) and then Crota who is hoarding 7 and an item to get the raid weapon and the loot table is split so that hard mode can't give you the weapons that drop on normal mode. Which is just so much bollux. After I get the hard ship sparrow hand cannon and crux I won't have any reason to do hard anymore aside from slightly improved chances of getting a helmet.

8 RepliesIt's not flawed at all. Your thinking is if you expect every weapon or piece or armor to drop anywhere close to evenly for you from an rng system.

I'm still missing the chest peice on my titan for VoG lol and I'm a day 1 player lol. Titan was also my 1st class. I've pretty much gave up on it now. I have every exotic the xbone has to offer plus duplicates. But that damn chest peice is rarest thing in the game for me lol
