Pinoccio says his nose will grow. If he isn't lying his nose won't grow. But that would mean he just lied about that statement so his nose would grow but that would mean he is telling the truth about that first statement so his nose wouldn't grow and so on.

The man thought fast and said, "it will definitely be on a Monday through Friday, right? " yes," the judge replied. "Then it won't be on a Friday, because if it hasn't happened by then I know it will be that day. And then it won't be a surprise." The judge shifted in his seat, nervous. "You are right, the execution could not be on a Friday." The man continued. "It also can't be Thursday. If it hasn't happened by then, I know it can't be a Friday, so it will be on Thursday. And then it won't be a surprise." The judge gulped, even more nervous. "That is also true," he said. The man continued with this logic, until he deducted that the execution couldn't be on a Monday. The judge, very upset with the man, sent him to his cell. The man was happy, for he was convinced they couldn't execute him now. [spoiler] The executioner came that Tuesday, surprising the man anyway.[/spoiler]
