Im hearing guns are Disappearing thru vault app?
And i think its true because my black hammer is missing! Anyone else has this problem going on?
Edit: So ok many people say the app works fine, a few say it doesnt. Now im not tryna be a troll but my Black hammer is gone. But i think i might of dismantle by accident during a crucible match when i got shitty rare snipers. But i just dont remember doing that. I checked all my 3 characters and vault and its not there. Anyways i guess i just gotta grind for it now.
Edit 2: So bungie is now aware of players weapons disappearing thru the app and are gonna look into that! I told you i wasnt trolling around idiots that didnt believe me!!!

The only problem I've had is an item not showing up on the Companion App, but this was due to the Companion App not synching with the servers. A quick restart solved that problem. Otherwise, no problems with lost items.

Zero issues for me and for 100% of the people I play with; the only panics have been when people weren't paying attention to which character they were using, and every "lost" item has been found with a minute or two of careful looking. I'm now comfortable enough to believe that the very solid majority of people who really have lost an item were probably dicking around, trying to find exploits or duplication hacks.

Turn your system completely off and back on I hear that works if your items disappear

For most effective use and guarantee for no missing items, you need to use it while you're idling (aka in Orbit/ standing still in game). Does anyone remember what happened when you used a heavy synthesis while dead and/or during a cutscene? Didn't work did it? [b]Do not[/b] attempt to transfer anything while dead, joining a fireteam, loading a mission or a cutscene. Wait till you are in game/in orbit so your player can idle and the transfer app can work at it's proper potential.

First day I used it I got kicked out/unable to sign in, but no weapons went missing. And no more problems with network when I transfer weapons since, either.

I have had zero problems. I think it is mostly a small percentage of people making mistakes and blaming it on the app. The transfer is literally instantaneous.

I've used it to transfer countless weapons between characters, to and from vault... So far I haven't faced any issues. For me the app really is a godsend.

1 ReplyI think people forget you have to switch characters on the app, u can't just remove. Whatever character is selected is where the gun goes, not whichever you are currently using. It's been working fine for me so far.

I used it while flying into an event, during an event, during the wipe screen, mid character change. Hasn't bugged out on me at all. [spoiler]I was testing with duplicates to see what all the complaining was about. Needless to say, no complaining here.[/spoiler]

2 RepliesIts working fine for me. When console is off or on. When i am switching too the character i am on or other characters. When i press the button too move the weapon to my active character, it pops up straight away. Could it be connection that causes ppl trouble? Iphone 5 -> xbox one is working.

I think some people are just trying to scam the system. I've used it quite a bit with no issues - except for that one time I thought my Gjallarhorn was lost but it was right in front of me and I was just distracted.

I've been transferring Rare shit during load screens and while dead just to "kick the tires", not a problem yet.

I haven't lost anything and have been using the app exclusively I think kids are just trying to get guns they don't have and say if got "lost"
