that's not what the person i was replying to was talking about at all, not the way i read the comment. by 'anti-men' i felt she was referring to the usual 'girls rule and boys drool! girls are the best and all boys suck!!!' bullcrap best suited for elementary school playgrounds that sometimes rears its ugly head in all-female groups, especially ones with an abundance of younger players. Dames has been a mature group when it comes to this sort of thing, i've never seen it come up before and i wouldn't be one to tolerate it if it did.

  • This. Excluding men from a group catering to women isn't any more anti-men than a girls restroom. It's funny how groups like dames of destiny make people anxious to get in but you don't see that as much with, say, dads of destiny. People just accept that they aren't a dad and move on.
