Heart of the Praxic Fire
.......Also known as the chest piece the game won't let me have! Seriously just spent 150 some notes on the chest engram and I didn't get it. Anyone know any really good ways to farm for motes of light really really fast? Help a brother out please!
Edit 1: Quick update on the situation. I managed to farm 45 motes of light yesterday. The only engram I got turned into Lucky Raspberry and I'm about to go hunting for my 46th.
Edit 2: Just got the 46th mote, and I'm off to buy an engram.
Edit 3: It turned into Voidfang Vestaments....I hate you Rahool.
Edit 4: I'm done grinding. Sick of every single strike. Congrats to everyone who got it. Piss off to everyone whose coming here to brag. I hope you all have a great day.

I have about 170 notes saved up for whenever Xur sold a chest engram for this very purpose. I don't have a warlock, but always said I'd make one if I got HoPF. Load up on Friday morning prepared to spend most of my motes. Go and pick up my 1st engram. Run to Cryptarch. ...got HoPF with a super nice stat roll. In the 160's! Super pumped. Sorry you didn't get it man. Start saving motes again for next time he sells Chest engrams!

1 ReplyBought 7 before I got HOPF it had garbage stats had enough for 2 more got a second one with better stats last exotic armour that I didn't have I'm gonna get 3 of them from the nightfall next week.

3 RepliesFinally got it from xur this week after wasting every note on chest engrams in the past. Have every other warlock exotic maxed out, along with starting a second set of crota raid gear after all VoG gear and the old IB gear. It's just a more rare exotic drop.

1 ReplyI bought four engrams hoping to get it too but got voidfang(didn't have it yet but shoulda bought it first), alpha lupi hunter and Titan, and then.. Armamentarium. What a fail. I coulda used those motes in rerolling the 2nd timurs I just got from IB.

I got 6 chest engrams from xur this week, none turned into praxic. Got around to doing my remaining 2 nightfalls, and I get praxic.

2 RepliesCould people stop posting how easily they got it? It is not helping the thread at all. People spent 303 motes and did not get it. Just because you got it on your first engram does not mean you are superior. I was in a long ass battle for this damn chest piece. You think I would have quit the game ages ago but nope. I just want to say that Hotpf is extremely rare and probably the best-looking piece in this whole game. Nothing even compares to it. Just leave the person alone. 20 hours of rocs is insane.... but then again when is Xur gonna sell the damn chest engrams gain, let alone praxic?

I've had it since week 6. It's the best warlock sunsinger chest armor, BUT... sometimes the radiance perk is buggy. Sometimes it's really fast, sometimes not. Don't feel too bad. I can't even wear mine because I don't have crota helmet.

Yeah I want it too and I only had enough for 1 engram and the cryptarch gives me the crest of alpha lupi (which means a shard) The next day my friend who just hit 30 buys a engram and gets it. He doesn't even have a warlock and he just keeps it so he can rub it in my face D:
