anybody know a legit good place to farm black wax idols?

3 Majors on earth down the stairs, just goto the second room and move right up to the wall and wait for around 20 seconds, they will repop, and repeat.

do the second dlc mission where you meet omnigrul (not strike) it summons a couple of majors at the end which drop black wax I think its called something like Rasputin

12 RepliesLaunch Patrol Cosmodrome. Right when you spawn, turn and run left. You should see like a Vandal and some Shanks, or a stray Dreg. They should be like a little outpost entrance to the left of them. There is a staircase. Walk down there, and 3 level 18 Hive Majors, (1 Hallowed Knight and 2 Hallowed Acolytes) will be there all with boomers. Kill them, and they have a small chance of dropping your BWI. To make them respawn, run back up the staircase, stay above ground for a about a minute, then run back down and they should be there. Rinse and repeat! Have fun.

Once you get inside there will be three knights, pass them and go into the hellmouth, mission indicator will tell you where to go. Once you go down the stairs the first room will have 4 yellow hive, 1 knight and three acolytes I think. Kill them if they don't drop it jump off the cliff and repeat. It's a good way to farm black wax and a quick way to get the kill 10 hive majors bounty as well. When you jump off the cliff it spawns you right at the door entrance so it's really quick.

1 ReplyBeginning of warmind lvl 30, there are 3 yellow thralls. Kill them and jump off the railing fastest way to kill 3 and repeat.

I almost always get one when I finish the Warmind DLC mission on earth. Usually either a hallowed knight or the ogre drops one.

I farm Earth right down the stairs to the left, pop a wax and get started. I will always leave with alot of BWI and codex. BTW you don't have to even leave the room, just jump up right by the ac duct in the ceiling but make sure you max out the double jump hitting your head and they will respawn. This method of respawn will be disrupted when a blade of crota is about to spawn or another guardian is close by but I found it quicker than exclusion for glimmer and BWI.
