I have 7 vanguard commendations, and 6 crucible ones. I do not do crucible, so i never have any crucible marks. And i do not buy vanguard weapons from the vendor as the perks lick balls.
Can we please get something to spend these on as some type of reward for time spent? Every time you level up a faction they give you one of the crucible comms. Please give us an actual reason to use these

Yeah I think I have like 10 now. Just sit in my vault and take up a spot....
-
1 ReplyBiggest waste... Not to mention I can't even dismantle them. Now they are sitting on my alt like a genital wart I can't shake.... Lol
-
16 RepliesCommendations are worthless to high level players, and a hindrance to lower level players. I would like to see them made useful for something, perhaps for reforging legendary weapons, or upgrading 300 weapons to 331.
-
not enough marks to spend commendations, lol. dont rly know why they invented that, just another pointless currency.
-
I think I have 12 Vanguard Commendations and 4 Crucible Commendations. When I first heard about them I was a little nervous it would bottleneck everything but now...I'm thinking about dismantling them for more room in the vault
-
Me. Got all raid gear, so yeah. I collect them as a hubby. Keep em in a nice coin box.
-
17 of them in the vault. Never used a single one.
-
4 RepliesI'm saving them and 200 marks on all my characters for the next dlc. Going to stockpile a bunch of mats and 5k xp bounties the week leading up to house of wolves too. We all know vanguard will have level 33 gear for sell..
-
bought two snipers (crucible & vanguard) since they have higher impact than what i already had...the other stuff are worthless, tried both crucible ARs and went back to Shadow Price
-
If I can sell them for marks that would be nice. I have 5 crucible commendations with no marks to use them with.

2 Replies22 Vanguard Commendations just chilling in my bank. I have only spent 1 so far in TDB and that was so I could buy a chest for my Titan so I could hit 31. That was quickly replaced with a raid chest. I won't be buying any of the Vanguard guns simply because they require too many Marks and the vast majority of them have crap stats.

1 ReplyEdited by x_8-BitZombie_x: 1/5/2015 3:29:21 PMI haven't been buying anything... Right now VoG weapons are as good if not better than new vendor weapons. While this way seem odd since vendor weapons have higher damage, the fact that against all enemies under level 31 take the same damage from similar impact weapons at 300 and 331 thanks to Destiny's horrible scaling makes buying new weapons seem stupid. Especially since both VoC and FB both wreck in Crota's End. Even if for some reason I do end up needing 331 legendaries for the hard version of CE, I've gotten around 12 of them from Nightfall and vendor packages that are just collecting dust right now. I know Bungie made new vendor gear 331 to try and ween us off of the Vault gear, but when 99% of the content doesn't gain a benefit from increased damage why does it even matter?

Me, me,me, i have 9

WE NEED A FOREIGN EXCHANGE BUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I thought i was the only one. I have 5 crucible commendations and 2 Vanguards.
-
Bounce!!! I have 14 commendations, ask me anything
except what to spend them on...
-
17 and counting I think.
-
6 crucible commdations? I don't even have 1
-
1 ReplyYeah the Vanguard weapon choices and perks on them are Poop! I mean pre DLC you had one good weapon of each class type (ie hand cannon) and in the case of AR you could argue a couple. Now it is like picking the one that sucks the least.
-
2 RepliesThey added 5 new currencies with the DLC, and for what? Just more crap taking up valuable space in my inventory/vault.
-
1 ReplyIf they would rotate the vendor weapons weekly, especially the Vanguard, they would be more useful. The same 10 or 12 weapons for sale from the Vanguard vendor for months straight is a little lame. Also, there are a bunch of crucible vendors but it's disproportionate to where most players spend time in the game and earn their marks. If there were at least as many weapons vendors that took Vanguard marks as Crucible, it would be much better.

Dismantle

Mine have been piling up. I see no use for them other than to slow down purchases for lower lvl players. Me thinks Bungie failed on this one.
-
I don't see any use for the commendations. If you have raid gear, what's the point in them?
-
They were only meant to slow you down in the first couple of weeks of the DLC. Now they are meant to take up a reward slot when you rank up keeping you from getting anything decent. The two best drops I've gotten since the patch was Up For Anything and Payback SOS. Now that I bought the others, there's nothing left to do with them. How about every 5 you can convert some ascendant material for radiant material?

Nothing to spend on.
