Even though it was more RPG than shooter, I loved the Mass Effect series. Yeah, ME3's ending left much to be desired, but the overall franchise, was awesome.
But I'm gonna say, mine was Borderlands. In a genre full of competitive multiplayer modes, it was fun and refreshing to play a coop and just run around causing mayhem with some pals! And I think it's that feel of teamwork and exploration I'm looking forward to the most with Destiny!

I see a lot of love for Halo, Borderlands, and Mass Effect. I enjoyed the latter because I used it to "trick" my friend to play a RPG, which he thought was for nerds. ME3's mp addition helped in that area too!

Blood Dragon, without a doubt. In fact, I think it's probably still better, but I'll end up playing Destiny more. Blood Dragon is just fps perfected.

mine would be Titanfall. afters lots of years of same junk from cod and battlefield Titanfall added a fresh feel to fps genre. whatever people think it lacks now i hope it will make up in Titanfall 2 when that comes out it's gonna be on ps4 aswell as xbox so at least PlayStation only guys and galls will be able to experience the fun I've had so far. you did state fps before Titanfall not all time fps kinda thing

It was probably Halo: Reach for me.

Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare.

I know I've played the halo series more than anything else, but choosing which one is hard... I know I've played halo 3 online the most (loooved that game~) with halo 2 right behind that, and both having great campaigns. But halo: combat evolved really turned my world around as a child~ I also loved Reach and 4, and had amazing campaigns and decent custom games, they didn't have arena multiplayer, which was a change of pace, but it didn't work in the long run... So I'd say it's a toss up between the original trio.. for so many reasons... I've always sucked at picking things... ehhh why did I go to this topic~!?! Dx

Halo Reach. That DMR and Forge mode were masterpieces in their own right.

I was addicted to ME3 mp and BL2 for a long while. I love biotic classes and the siren from Borderlands and the warlock are very similar to that. Spaaaaace magic <3

Hmm probably Gotham city impostors, such a fun and lighthearted game!
-
Had to be either Halo: Reach or Halo 4

Mass Effect 3. Personally, I don't see what was bad about the endings.
The merging choice I'll admit was stupid. Kill yourself, to make everyone a human cyborg thingy.
Control, and Destroy were the best IMO.

I'm gonna all the way back to Socom 2. Met some people there that I still know today. It holds a special place in my heart. Coincidence that it also had dancing (of a sort)?

I was definitely a fan of Mass Effect and Borderlands as well. I think Halo 2 was my all time favorite shooter. A close second would be CoD 4.
