What was your most favorite shooter before Destiny
Even though it was more RPG than shooter, I loved the Mass Effect series. Yeah, ME3's ending left much to be desired, but the overall franchise, was awesome.
But I'm gonna say, mine was Borderlands. In a genre full of competitive multiplayer modes, it was fun and refreshing to play a coop and just run around causing mayhem with some pals! And I think it's that feel of teamwork and exploration I'm looking forward to the most with Destiny!

Probably Halo, as it more closely abides to the, "Shooter" description. Mass Effect still reigns supreme for me though, regardless of the ending.

Gotta say I really enjoyed Borderlands too, spent hundreds of hours causing havoc in that game.

Edited by AggroMaestro: 8/13/2014 5:57:26 PMI have a few all time favs like; Red faction, Cod 2 & 4. Recent years my favs would be Borderlands 2 with BF4 coming in second. Borderlands makes it feel like you're not playing a shooter. Maybe it's the co-op vs competitive vibe. Destiny felt the same way, with some competitive added. Not the other way around like other shooters, being mostly pvp oriented.

Halo and Killzone my two top faves ........and portal 2 and Left 4 Dead and Fallout 3 and far cry 3 there's to many I love to choose just one just depenfs on my mood
