Bad side quests?
This is my main worry in destiny. i hope that they wont do crappy side quest like in defiance. please bungie learn from there mistakes. do you guys think it will have bad side quest?
P.S do you think it will be anything like defiance? i hope not.
Edit: what i mean by bad side quest is like. "go kill three rats."

This is the main reason why they aren't calling it an MMO. There wont be bullshit quests, grinding, or farming; supposedly anyway. I'm thinking it'll be hard to dissuade people from doing it completely.

Hopefully the side quests mostly consist of tons of long faction story lines, especially since bungie has described destiny as a book being played out. Fetching worthless objects or killing worthless aliens has no value to me. But after just completing the companions questline in Skyrim, I felt satisfied as if the time I put in was worth it. The story meant something. So hopefully side quests in Destiny have that same satisfaction in completing them.

You need to be more specific with "bad side quests." I just wish side quests are not needed in order to survive the main quest. What I mean by that is that in some games enemies are always slightly ahead of you in rank if you only do the main quest. Developers plan that on purpose so you are forced to play side quests in order to keep up. It is just a stupid reason to keep the player playing. Boarderlands does this. If you were to start a new character now and play only the main quest solo, you would see what I am talking about. I would also like side quests to award more than just XP. Nothing too specific. I just want them to feel like they are worth more to complete.

If Destiny will even have side quests. If they do, that would be nice. Though hopefully the side quests will be pretty lengthy. I don't want any of those "5 minute" side quests stuff.
