No content but we would still be grinding gms if it was pre edge of fate.
Prior to edge of fate launch gms were in a good place. It was a perfect balabce of difficulty and fun.
Since edge of fate the balanxe has been off. Things are too tanky/ bullet spongy.
We used to/i used to grind gms pre edge if fate. If it was still like pre edge of fate some of us would still be playing even though there is a content drought.
The portal and some of the nonsense yall added with edge of fate ruined the game. Yah removed all the space magjc/fun from the game.
We need to go back to loot specific to certain playlists. Gms had their own loot pool(pali, warden etc). Now every playlists drops the same crap.
Addind a perk like accelreated assault is nice but we still need lootnspecific to every playlists.
I hear old raids and dungeins are getting the tiered system (great). We still have a few problems.
Portal.sucks, bring back the world tab
Remove the modifier card system. Bring back the fixed mods that rotate every week. That system worked. Weekly ee lem3ntal burn, weapon type burn etc.
We need loot specific to every event/ playlists.
Old difficulty system was fine expert, legend, master and gm. We dont need ult8mate. Rebalance between legend , master and gm.
The weekly dripfed content per expansion model was fine.
Gm lost sectors need to come back.
The portal shoul be a small selectable node in the corner of the world tab that glows/pulses. When selected it only shows the weekly featured content (rade, dungeon , nightfall and mission). This was how it was pre edge of fate but we had to look on the world tab to see what was featured.
The portal shoulda been a small tab that shows all feature weekly reset content but it should have been secondary to the world tab. It should not have replaced the world tab. It implemented properly it would not have been a problem.

5 RepliesIt hit me recently that intrinsic anti-champion primary weapons are worthless against their champs now. For example, wish-ender used to 1 tap barrier shields, but now it is doing about 1/5 of a barrier, and the draw time is so long that the champion heals back to full before you can loose a second arrow. Overloads are still buggy as hell and it seems like using a weapon that happens to be a different anti-champion causes the overload to regenerate health before the stun expires, like using the currently anti-barrier sniper for damage instead of a worthless primary pulse rifle ends up being a massive penalty.

3 RepliesI think if they added a script that made all the old gear tiered without being tied to the portal and the portal was literally just a "portal" and everything in the game had that gear system, the game would be WAY better. And I mean infinitely better. Would make farming public events actually worth while. Portal wouldn't be as much of a strain on the immersion because it would be a suggestion rather than something the player is forced to interact with. An ease-of-use tool. They could also move everything from the Portal into the Destination tab and simply update the Destination tab for some of the Portal things such as Onslaught but that would take far too long methinks.

So grind GM’s for godrolls you will never use . D2 just needs to be put to rest now . Just a cash cow .
