So are there too few people working on D2 that you can't do bug fixes and mix in IB?
It has to be lack of staff right? I get that Marathon is the primary goal right now, but just ignoring D2 and hoping those pissed off players will switch?

It’s likely all hands on deck until Marathon launches. Anyone that didn’t see this coming needs a reality check. Marathon’s success is likely a condition for Bungie not being totally absorbed by Sony. So of course Bungie’s going to do everything in their power to make it succeed. There is likely a small team for active updates in case something really breaks but that’s it. It’s a lose-lose situation rn
