Everybody. If you click the link, scroll down to where it says "sample output explained". The 4 million users is the amount of accounts. The total number of concurrent players is in the output explained section and matches the data in popularity report. (87,000) total right now.

7 RepliesMan if there is that many people playing destiny right now and finding a raid or going to a grandmaster or doing a dungeon would be a lot easier. There's more like 11,000 people on steam currently playing it in less than 200,000 on all the other platforms combined so that comes up a little bit short on the 4.7

75 RepliesJust look at it like this: People have been predicting, declaring, rooting and cheering for this game's demise for years and who knows? Maybe they'll finally be right this time (although I can't imagine what satisfaction can be found in calling something that was inevitable) so let them rejoice and have their moment in the sun. It only means they'll have to find another game forum to haunt and spread their misery to, and I pity the community that unwillingly adopts them. 🤷♂️

Edited by Regret: 2/19/2026 2:37:46 AMBravo Herm… A quick bit of maths shows that 4.7 million is even lower daily numbers than the trackers are showing us…devastating for matchmaking… :) Remember the only people still playing are likely logging in everyday or multiple times a day so these numbers of unique players are likely even lower! Based on steam concurrent the monthly unique logins are going to be 200-220 k….
