Okay so to make a long story short, I played Destiny 2 year one on my Xbox. This inlcudes Warmind and some of Forsaken.
I then decided to switch to PC short after Forsaken released, making me start completely over. A year later cross save is announced and implemented. I set up my PC account as my cross save. I have played consistently since then.
Looking back on it, I sort of want to start fresh. I want to play my Xbox account character on PC. I had a few cosmetics that are exclusive to year 1, and that character is also connected to my Destiny 1 character.
So, a couple of questions about that:
- what is the quickest way to be able to play my Xbox Destiny 2 account on PC?
- if I set up cross save with my Xbox account taking priority, would I have to rebuy all of the DLC, or would I keep everything, considering I'm using the same Steam account?
- is there a way for me to play my Xbox Destiny 2 account on PC, while still being able to access my current PC Destiny 2 acccount?
Any help on this would be amazing, I'm just very curious and don't want to make some wrong decisions here. Thanks!

See below though. Season passes and Dungeon keys are tied to the Destiny 2 account - so would need purchased on the Xbox Destiny 2 account if you were to make it the active profile. This would mean having 2 versions of the game installed and having to do 2 updates every time Bungie release it. You would simply leave cross-save deactivated in this case. You will need to rebuy the expansions if you do it this way as they're tied to the platform (and platform account) rather than Destiny account, so playing through the Xbox for PC version would need you to buy the Xbox for PC version of the expansions to have access to them there.

Seasons, dungeon keys and other in game purchases are tied to the characters and would need to be repurchased Point 3 - This would not be possible with cross-save active Edit - I'm not 100% on this, but I think XB console might be able to share characters with XBPC, though since it is not an MS play anywhere title you would need to repurchase all content for XBPC
