If destiny forums were not so negative the game would thrive
I dont know what spirit has taken over the world, but the negative energy that flows from the people that it whispers too makes everything less fun.

Nah the forums are 1% of the community at worst, 3% at best. Those people will deny it but they don't speak for the majority as it's just an echo chamber of players who don't understand the genre they signed up for and don't understand how good they have it, well had it, before EoF. Loot better than raids (still true), able to get to max level without raiding and "tedious" mechanics and power sharing.

Tiny, tiny, tiny small % of the forums make the biggest noise. Vast majority of Guardians never step foot in this Hellmouth. It's Bungie who develops the game, not mouthpieces on a forum. Every decision ever made, was made by Bungie. Not the players.

I agree with you however these forums do not actually represent the Destiny playerbase. These forums were also toxic before Destiny was even a thought. People come here to troll, vent, or just complain. There are pleasant people in Destiny. Don't look for them here in the trash can.

1. Spin that into positivity - we are literally writing to the developer telling them how to obtain more of our money by making stuff that matters to us. (anonymous online communication is difficult to decipher and can be a bit rough,,,🤪🤬... but hopefully BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS whose work it is to understand customer pain points exist at Bungie.. and then the forums & feedback can become a gold mine... but it takes work) 2. If you find it affects you then take a break from the forums > until you need to complain :)... btw you can also try to post positive things that are working > I do that too as I am practical that we are here for a reason for a game that we do enjoy (or enjoyed...).. but dont take it personal.. 3. Its all your perspective. 4. Buck up. -

Unfortunately all forums will be a cesspool. But this one mostly became more of a cesspool after years of neglect. The game became negative after Final shape 😪. Because bungie didnt have a clear vision either. I am not even joking when I say, the only reason EoF exists is because they needed money, d3 doesnt exist yet since it isnt confirmed, and marathon needs money. With that last part being a slap in the face because if you invest money in a game and get 0 extras in return, then yeah. I see why nobody is happy. Lightfall got a platinum award for most revenue

You're right the negative players the ones who: Not fixing year old bug's Not listening to the player base Weight gating certain perks Not making Gambit fun Delayed Pantheon 2.0 Created an extraction shooter that can be DOA Delaying IB Etc etc

I didn't know people posting here were all devs, in charge of a multi-billion dollar studio, that has been dropping the ball for years in the most various and pathetic ways. Are you seriously blaming the customers for the mistakes of the ones who are behind every bit of bad decision and poor management? Hey guys, I'm in charge. Don't worry. Considering that the majority of Destiny players have probably never used the forum, I find your claim difficult to believe. Maybe this game would still be thriving if focus hadn’t been diverted to multiple other projects and getting a different game out the door within the next few weeks. Maybe it wouldn’t have mattered, and that after 10+ years this is where the game was always going to be population wise.
