Motes of Light Gone
Was holding onto 16 Motes and after completing the Servitor Overthrow in the Blooming to achieve the last one, it did not drop and the Motes I did have disappeared. Exotic item you receive from obtaining all 17 is also not in inventory.
Edit: Postmaster is empty as well

It can also screw you over by simply not dropping a mote at all while the meatball is not last boss kill you need, i have everything collected and killed and stuck with 16 with no way to get the exotic.

Yeeeep.. I had everything in order for the Kvastov, and saved farming the Overthrow for last. Grinded that out not really paying attention to which bosses I was killing cause it's ultimately the same thing just a different flavor. Meatball was my last boss, and like everyone else it sucked up my motes and gave back nothing. To add on to it, as it's intended. You can't even re farm the motes, they are designed to stop dropping once you've obtained the 17 for the exotic mote. So we are unfortunately all going to have to wait for that. Hopefully they don't make us form it again.... 🫠

Update: somehow I got a single mote from somewhere, so now I'm sitting at one, not that it does me any good.

Yeah the same thing happened to me and my two friends. We killed the Servitor in Overthrow and now all of our motes are gone, instead of receiving a 17th mote, our inventories are empty and there was nothing in post master. Hopefully Bungie can fix this issue quickly. =\
