So If anyone has any insight because frankly this is ridiculous...
Ok so I played about 35+ games of Iron banner, according to Destiny stat tracker. The I was supposed to lose 27 of those games and win 7. I ended up with 24 loses and 10 wins.
My question: Why are these odds stacked against me so much and so high (average % chances of losing 74%) where I'm supposed to lose 3 out of 4 games? Clearly I'm not that good of a player if my win percentage is 20%. Why is this the model destiny has chosen to implement in the game?

2 RepliesI took a look at your Titan, and at face value I see what your saying. Most of the games you lost. More than you should. I also seen that you were racking up kills. With that being said, since you have so many kills, I can't help to wonder if your doing the objectives? Most people who complain about iron banner focus on kills, not objectives. If your not doing the objectives, such as zone capturing, neutralizing, and defending, then you can't win. No matter how many kills you get(unless your defending a captured zone). I have won most of my games, I even won like six in a row I think(give or take a game), and I suck at PvP. Although, I'm great at doing the objectives and am always a top performer, either first or second, except in games where I had connection issues. I'm not saying your NOT doing objectives. I'm just guessing its not your focus because your kill count is so high. One match you lost big time, but had 22 kills. Zone capture equals death in most cases. Which makes you fill like your losing as a single player, but your actually winning as a team. I usually die every capture, and always take an enemy or two with me though. However, I only average around 6-8 captures a game. I'm not saying this is you, its just an idea I'm throwing out. FYI: I think Bungie has rigged the system to try and get everyone to a 1.0k/d and 50% win/lose rate.

8 RepliesIB/control uses sbmm + lobby balancing. The odds that are shown on destiny tracker are based off of player elo. Elo is a 3rd party rating system that is based solely off win rate (kd plays no factor) and elo doesn’t exactly with with our hidden mmr rating that bungie uses.
