I started playing Back 4 Blood out of curiosity and it’s actually decent, especially since I’m playing it on Gamepass and didn’t have to actually buy the game. It’s super short, but I like the strike-like feel that campaign missions have and the looting/deck system is enjoyable too. I feel like this game could have been awesome if it had a bigger budget, more folks working on it, and more time. Still fun especially for a “free” game though.

AC odyssey trying to finish it but keep getting distracted. FH5 Apex Edit- I also forgot I’m trying my best to get through Mass effect 1 on legendary edition so I can get to 2 and 3. I realized that I can become Lightning McQueen in Forza Horizon 3. So uh I’ve been kachowing. Also Doc Hudson is in the game and you can upgrade him to be as fast as a Bugatti Chiron.

4 RepliesI just finished Outer Wilds & Ghost Trick. Very nice games, both of them. Outer Wilds in particular is really amazing. Just started New Pokémon Snap!, and am thinking about picking up The Witness depending on the size of my paycheck. As you can see, I’ve been more into non-fighty games recently. Mario Kart 8, and Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Remastered are my go-to games when I have nothing else to play, though, and of course we had a lot of cool games in the most recent Nintendo Direct I’ve been looking forward to.

Kind of been switching between a lot of games, but most recently, I’m running Mount and Blade: Bannerlord, Apex Legends, R6S and a modded run of Skyrim.

1 ReplyI checked out D1 again given the recent D2 drama. Surprisingly a lot of people in the tower. I also checked out Anthem. I enjoyed the customization when it came to the Javelin colours, and the gameplay was generally very fun. Really could've used a Stronghold playlist, as everyone seemed to only be running Tyrant Mine, which got very dull. Now playing Mass Effect Andromeda. Honestly pretty good. I like the Nomad, and the cast is generally very likable, the Angara are a cool new alien species. Fascinating to see the similarities between it and Anthem. Why EA/Bioware would decide to make their looter shooter mmo a new IP, instead of using Mass Effect, is beyond me. They've already got all the cool different species, classes, weapons, locations etc. Idk seems like an obvious move.
