Old question about Rise of Iron’s campaign lore
Are the bloated bodies of the Iron Lords we fight at the end of the campaign still alive?
Like have Jolder, Felwinter and Gheleon still been alive just

Unfortunately that's a plot point bungie abandoned. One could argue that they would be similar to cloudstriders or a proto cloudstrider. So it could be cool if bungie brought this back as a way to help cloudstriders live longer than 10 years.

4 RepliesNope. SIVA actively knew to target Ghosts and destroy them to weaken the Iron Lords. What you’re looking it is about as horrifying though. SIVA is using their armour as a basis for a sort of defense frame, with their decomposed corpses still inside.

Scorn and Sivafied iron lords are by far the most grotesque designs destiny has had. With maybe the taken ogres with the blisters on their backs.

I mean technically that is possible because, why would siva destroy a ghost. Unless the ghosts got destroyed while being built upon by siva.

I don’t think so no, what I think happened is that SIVA wanted to experiment and tried to think about a soldier that itself controlled and could manipulate, now that being said I think it never got finished due to the fallen taking over and giving SIVA a new directive Cause the SIVA lords seem to have pretty much everything, weapons that SIVA created and biologically enhanced, but knowing SIVA, it could have perfected it to be a raid variant if the fallen did not get involved

1 ReplyFWIW: all Guardians are zombies. And they don’t wash, either, so they are pretty rank. The only logical body-types that make sense are Exos, which are not organic and therefore don’t decay, and as an Exo - parts are easily recycled / replaced. This is why my H / W / T identify as Exos…and want to transform to such from Human / Awoken. Why does BHQ ignore my / our requests to be virtual trans-characters?? I like rainbows, and unicorns, too! 🫠 The Iron Lords - infested with ‘siva’, are zombies+…infected zombies that are controlled / motivated by another force…to whom / what, they have lost their minds (mostly)… Cheers! 🫡
